Holiday Inn Virginia Beach - Norfolk

I stayed at this hotel in 2009 after the remodel. The rooms are nice and spacious and the bed sleeps as if you are sleeping on clouds. I highly recommend staying here if you visit Virginia Beach and choose not to stay at the Ocean Front.

I just checked it. I have no complaints. My room is spacious and clean. My bed is soft.

Was there for a convention. Breakfast had a nice selection. The facilities were clean, staff were very helpful and friendly.

I had a great stay. It was nice and clean. The bartender Nick was just absolutely amazing!!! Will definitely return.

I went there for a long weekend for my Birthday and I had awesome service. The room was amazing the bed was super comfy. and I was surprised to see no carpet on the floor. They had beautiful floors. They have been making changes to this hotel and more to come. The front desk ladies were awesome, very professional and very nice. Shoutout to Stephanie (manager) she was very attentive and quickly took care of little mishaps, that can happen anywhere. Over all I would come back to stay here next time I come to Virginia Beach.

I have stayed here twice and both times I was impressed. The staff here is nice and welcoming.The rooms are always nice and clean. I like coming here because I can relax, be comfortable, and not have to worry about anything. I also love how the manager will text you to see if everything is going well with your stay or if there's anything they can do to make your stay better...

The staff is very friendly! Our first night went by without a hitch. However, on our second night the heater in our room stopped working. It got down to 27 degrees outside and our room was colder than the hallway. We called front desk and it took an hour and a half for someone to come up, which is fine we understand that it was night and they may be short staffed. The guy who came in just made sure the AC unit was plugged in and proceeded to tell us that there was no room available tonight. We slept with our toddlers between us to make sure they were warm since night shift couldn’t/wouldn’t do anything. In the morning, I called front desk again since I couldn’t stand the cold anymore and we were to the point where we were just going to leave, however, the maintenance guy named Cameron was God sent! He made sure we were settled in a room ( an upgrade from our previous ) with working heat! He even gave us complementary dinners at the restaurant downstairs.

Overall, I recommend staying at this hotel. Their beds are comfy, clean rooms, and an amazing staff. Cameron went above and beyond to help my family get warm during our trip and we truly appreciate him!

I m from New York and had a long stay here almost a month. God bless Holiday Inn Virginia Beach they ve got Carrie and Johanna they ve exceeded customers expectations free breakfast or dinner and free commute back and forth to school made my stay fly thank you and highly recommended place!

We r still staying since the Navy Gateway Inn don't have any heat and from my understanding they will not be fixing it.

Went for a birthday celebration and the conference room held more than enough space for dinner, and dancing

Traveling as a family of 4 we found this location to suit all our needs. It is not a bad place to stay. If you could afford a 5 star hotel on the beach go ahead and enjoy your stay. This hotel is located 5 minutes from Walmart. It is 10-25 minutes from Breakfast, lunch, Dinner, Beach, & anything else you may choose to do. Room was not spotless but it was clean, the only real noise was the hotel cleaning staff letting the doors bang shut. Seem to have friendly clientele, everyone seems to say hello while passing. Multiple hotel entrances from parking lot surrounding building. Rooms on first floor have doors that open up to pool or parking lot depending on which room. Enjoy we did.

We had a conference here and the staff was always very attentive and treated us well. Once we got through day 1 hiccups, the rest of the conference ran very smooth and the manager was very attentive to our needs and making sure that we had everything we needed. Can't comment on the rooms but the conference facilities were very good, lots of parking, recently refreshed lobby. There is a nice lobby bar for gatherings after as well.

We were celebrating our 20th anniversary ( I surprised him) and Stephanie ( guest services manager) treated me like family. Our stay was so special and I have to say thanks for making me feel so comfortable. The room ( suite) was awesome.... we will have to do the getaway more often🥰thanks again

I've used the rooms, restaurant and Conference facilities at this hotel several times over the past 30+ years and I've always found all these services to be excellent in every situation. The rooms are large with a contemporary design and beautifully furnished. There is a large vanity area with great mirrors and equipment. The rooms have wonderful walk in showers that are large enough for two as well as nice sized tubs.
Ashley's, the main restaurant is absolutely wonderful and used to be the only restaurant and bar but now there are two others, one in the lobby and another on the front side of the Facility. They have a wonderful pool and exercise room as well as all the other amenities.
I highly recommend this facility for any special events such as wedding rehearsal dinners, conferences, seminars comma Etc. The banquet facilities or excellence and I speak from multiple experiences. I cannot say enough good things about this Hotel and Conference Center. Over 30 plus years I've never been disappointed whether I needed a room or to set up a special event like a wedding.

Carrie at the front desk is amazing! Room was nice, and the location was convenient.

The hotel is very nice. Kids eat free. And the food is excellent. The rooms were clean with maids who took pride in their cleaning. Even though the hotel isn't new it feels new as it was recently renovated. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. The banquet halls and the hospitality rooms were clean and nice.

Stayed here for a wedding. Staff was friendly with the kids, we hung out in the lobby one morning to burn some time and they were very relaxed about it.

Bar area had a couple craft beers. Went to the breakfast buffet at Ashley’s and it was great. Staff was very attentive. Ran out of meat at one point and they brought us out a dish from the kitchen.

I’d stay here again if I was in the area.

Staying here on a business trip and the stay was excellent. The staff was extremely friendly to us from the moment we walked in the door to the moment we checked out. They were very helpful to all of us, and very happy to help us with any request we had. The entire building inside and out was very clean and comfortable and the housekeepers were very polite and desecrate. I will most definitely be returning here in the future.

This hotel is beautiful! Very clean newly renovated. Helpful staff Andrew has been so sweet and helpful. While it is a bit pricey it's worth it there's a restaurant inside a bar and a really nice pool. It's in the middle of everything!!! Everything is 10-15 minutes away. The bed is soft they have more than enough towels. Lots of seating in room. And the shower is nice! No tub if you were looking to take a soak. Vending and ice on each floor. Reminds me of when we stayed at 4/5 star hotels over seas.

Excellent suites. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Restaurant on site has great food and drinks. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I frequent many Holiday Inn Express hotels and this is another good one. The rooms are excellent. They are very clean. The beds are very comfortable. You get a good selection from the hot breakfast offered each morning. I will definitely stay here again.
