Waffle House

This is the only waffle house I go to within the Petersburg area. There is usually seating available and quick service. The employees are friendly and the food tastes as expected. I do believe the restaurant could be a bit cleaner because the menus are greasy and it is messy behind the counter were the employees work.

Just came out from the restaurant and young lady with blue hair was so nice and professional!! I wish i could give her more starts!!❤ i just feel bad that i didn't catch her name..but she was one hard working lady! Thank you my family had wonderful dinner today

Daughters first time eating here. Thought it was better then Chick Fil a. My server was right on top of things.

The morning staff is fabulous! Kia and Miss Beverly took great care of us. The service was outstanding and the food was exactly as we ordered it and piping hot! We can't have carbs so no hashbrowns, grits or toast but they worked with us to get us something we could eat, thanks ladies for going the extra mile! We will definitely be back.

Me and my husband got hungry late night and there was only 2 people working and the girl and guy that were there definitely made me feel comfortable. MT anxiety usually keeps me on edge but they made it so easy to talk to and the food was delicious. Need more people like them working like this. I appreciated their kindness.

Clean atmosphere food or always fresh 9/10 would recommend

I heard there were changes on the menu and they removed the steak, which they served pre-covid, but the food was great. Missed the steak with eggs, but enjoyed the grilled chicken with bacon sandwich and my daughter enjoyed her chocolate chip waffles.

Atno other place. Can you get stuffed for 10 bucks Best bang for the buck period

Upon entrance Manager (Diamond)and staff greeting me all cheered me up after having a hectic drive from Durham, NC.

They always fix my chicken egg and cheese with onions just how I want it!

You know what you’re getting at Waffle House, so I don’t need to describe the food. But the Saturday morning crew here is phenomenal. It was very busy and they cooked, served, and kept up with orders in an impressive way. Location is clean and quiet.

My son, his son and myself stopped through on our way back to Charlotte from Jersey. Food was great, the two women who were on staff were perfect. It was a well need rest stop. They made it even better.

The food this time was just so so. The reason that it get 5 stars is because I'm from Philly and I only get it when I travel south. From the first time I had Waffle house I was in love.

The cook thats on the overnight shift is straight up professional, and talking about being able to cook, wow. I see why people stop here in the morning and get there meal to go into work from here. She's good, the food was absolutely delicious

It may seem excessive to give a chain restaurant with simple food 5 stars, but the reasons add up to even more than 5. The pecan waffles are terrific; that’s a star. The service is very friendly and extremely fast, food on the table in minutes, even if a little crowded; it takes a packed restaurant before the service is merely normal speed, and even then it’s not slow; that’s another star. The entire menu is very inexpensive; it’s easy for two people to be done with ordering and still be under $20; that’s a third star. I’ve liked everything I’ve ordered, from breakfast food to a steak dinner, not elegant but excellent, always very tasty, simple food; that’s 4 stars already. The restaurants, restrooms, and even the parking lot are almost always completely clean, which a lot of fancier restaurants can’t manage to do so consistently; 5th star. Open 24 hours and unlike many competitors that only serve breakfast in the morning, Waffle House serves the entire menu all 24, so if you want a pecan waffle for dinner (I have) or a steak for breakfast (that too), you can have it; star number 6. I have more stars to write , but you get the idea by now why an inexpensive very informal chain restaurant can earn a 5 star review. Enjoy it for what it is, which is easy on the southern interstates because you can count on a Waffle House within just a few exits, star number 7.

I love this Waffle Gouse. They have the best food. I love their All Star meal. Their waitresses are helpful and always polite. I highly recommend this Waffle House. It's my favorite restaurant.
