This place deserves way more than 4.2!
Right off the highway, they have parking and a lovely patio! The food is tasty and a great value for the money. Staff is very friendly and prompt, we got our meals in what felt like 5 minutes.

Would highly recommend as an alternative to big chain restaurants that you encounter in your road-trip.

Warm chips & salsa is served upon seating. Guacamole was nice & tangy!
We got vegetarian/pinto bean nachos which was excellent!

Great service, nice people, and great food. The Parrila, which comes out steaming hot like fajitas, was one of the best meals I have ever gotten at this kind of restaurant. Our waitress kept our water full and was very attentive to us. They were also very kind to our small children. There is a limit on how many free baskets of chips before paying $1.50, but the limit of two was plenty for a party of five. The salsa was delicious, not spicy but still good, not liquidy, really good taste and consistency. Chips would have been nicer if they had been warmer. The beef was shredded beef instead of hamburger meat. When I called ahead of time they answered quickly and were professional. Bathrooms and dining area were clean. Would eat here again!

We ordered chicken burrito, beef burrito and steak fajita lunch specials. They were all ready quickly and all delicious! The lunch specials were affordable and generously portioned. The horchata beverage was not on par with the food.

This is the better Spanish restaurant in the surrounding areas. The food is very fresh and made to order, and the portion size is always enough for a few meals or to share. The prices are extremely reasonable. I got the beef chimichangas, and they were so good. The beef was shredded instead of ground chuck, which made this dish so much better. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and this restaurant is LGBTQ friendly.

A nice quaint Mexican restaurant. Staff was super friendly and quick. They gave us an additional basket of chips without cost like a few places do. The food was delicious and a wide variety to choose. The place was clean and well decorated. I would go there again

I went to New Market for a night with my family, and Jalisco Mexican Restaurant made me fall in love with the little place. It has soulful live music, a roomy patio wrapped with twinkly lights- which screams romance, and amazing food. The servers have a strong knowledge of the menu and are ready to answer questions. Excellent service. Amazing food, specially tres amigos and the shrimp tacos. Would love to go back again.

You want good food, spiced to your taste? Go to Jalisco's on Congress St. in New Market. Nice atmosphere, you can eat in or outside on their back patio which is away from the street traffic. Start with some tasty salsa and chips with your drink of choice. Good variety to choose from on the menu including vegetarian options which we love. My favorite Mexican restaurant in the area.

Ceviche was amazing! Takes a but for them to make but worth the wait!! Great staff
