Charlotte's Chicken and Waffles

I've been meaning to try this establishment out when they 1st opened, but glad that I was able to today. The service was great, and the food was delicious. Everything was cooked to order and came out at a reasonable time. The chicken was seasoned and cooked to perfection. You can't go to a waffle spot without trying out the waffles right? I ordered the cinnamon roll waffle and it was to die for. I will be returning to try other items on the menu.

Had a taste for chicken and waffles. I was NOT disappointed! They did it up right! Very comfortable and at home feel. Blueberry waffles. Garlic parm wings. Corn bread waffles. Mambo strips!

Food was awesome! Well definitely make the trip back to Petersburg! Mango habanero wings and the wings with mambo sauce were excellent! Strawberry waffles and the cinnamon roll waffles were great as well!

They were delicious. The food was hot and fresh. The staff was polite. Definitely recommend to anyone Great variety and quality for the price.

The food is always hot and fresh, and the drink is nice and cold. There are many flavors to choice from for the waffles and chicken. The staff is friendly and always topping off your drinks. You need to have time since your food is cooked fresh while you wait.

The food was so good. If you have been what are you waiting on. For the gym rats treat yourself at least one day.

The food was delicious. Service was great. We only brought debit & credit cards & the cash register only gave us the option to give up to a 30% tip. We tipped that amount but next time we will bring cash to tip more because the food & service are definitely worth more. It was busy but we still got our amazing food quickly. I can understand why there was a line almost out the door when we left. It's that busy because it's just that good. This place is a gem!

First time there was tonight and will definitely be back. The guy at the counter was very helpful he explained the menu to me as it was my first time there. Awesome customer service tonight. Food was delicious. Waffle was soft and flavor packed. Chicken tenders were juicy and had a nice crunch from the breading on them. Very glad I tried this place.

Visited for the first time for my nephew's birthday. We had a large party so it understandably took longer for everyone to get their order. Our waitress did an excellent job with handling such a large group. The food was good and I loved the peach tea! I'll definitely be back

The dining space was intimate. The service was a great example of southern hospitality. I drove 4.5 hours for this. For it to be my first experience of having chicken and waffles, I’ll say I’m glad I made this decision because it’s one I’ll remember forever. Thank you guys, you’ll see me again soon!

I've been there multiple times and I can say that's it's only gotten better. Great tasting chicken & amazing flavor options! The chicken also has s great crisp. There are also really good waffle options.
It's worth checking out and bringing others with you. Spread the word, best spot for chicken & waffles in the 804!

Don't sleep on this place! Hands down, THE BEST FOOD I ATE ALL SUMMER, besides seafood of course. The cinnamon roll waffles and chicken strips made my blood tingle. Just scrumptious! And the place is aesthetically pleasing, the vibe is good and the beats are sweet! Last, but certainly not least, the staff was very accommodating. She recommended what to get, and once I got it, I felt like I had died and gone to heaven.

Amazing! Great service - deep fried heavenly wings with amazing sauces - perfectly executed waffles - the pinnacle of southern comfort food. Crystal did an amazing job waiting on us - friendly, fun, and helpful - wonderful customer service. I’ll be going back soon, and so should you. If they start serving alcohol, I’m likely to be a regular :)

This place is lit 🔥 🔥 🔥 the garlic parm tender were so tasty and the fries were good. The onion rings were freshly made as well. The 2$ large lemonades with free refills came in clutch especially for us since we are roofers. Most importantly the chicken is fresh . This place will not disappoint you.

Some of the *best* food I've ever had! I'm so impressed with the friendliness of the staff, the cozy vibe & delicious food! I had the Parmesan and garlic chicken and cinnamon roll waffles. Even the lemonade was good! Did not disappoint.

Took Dad and we couldn't wait to get home before diving into that chicken! So crispy, juicy, flavorful and delicious. Loved our waiter, so attentive and suggested very well. Oh the eggs and sausage was off the chain! Where'd they get that sausage yo!?!

I went to Charlotte's and fell in love! The service was nothing short of amazing. The food was delicious and the music was jamming. Love the atmosphere of this restaurant. I am a good cook and I rarely find places that meet my high expectations. Charlotte's exceeded my standards in food and service. Dont miss going to this restaurant if youre in the area.
