Residence Inn by Marriott Norfolk Airport

A buddy of mine stayed there. It was beautiful on the inside. Very clean. The staff was welcoming and called his room to let him know I was there. Inside the room looked amazing. Didn't like the bar soap for handsoap in the bathroom, but that's just my opinion. Parking was ok. Felt like once I was in I had to walk forever to get to his room. Definitely spread out. But the inside and out was beautiful! I would stay here.

I had a great overnight hotel stay here. The room was spacious and very clean. Bed was comfortable and the breakfast was enough to get the day started. Staff were very friendly and professional.

10 min to airport was very convenient. Very little air traffic noise.
Kitchen appliances and other requirements were working. Hallway was quiet. Pleasant stay.

Close to the airport. Clean room. Friendly staff. Pool table. I'll be staying here more often and this is the location I recommend to family.

Great place and great staff, Holly has allot of patients who dealing with a rude guest. Close to airport, the planes didn't bother me, but heard some folks say it was loud. Would definitely recommend.

This hotel was outstanding! It was an immaculate place to spend my 3 days. The fragrance of cleanliness was apparent walking into this hotel. The staff was kind and helpful. On my next trip to Virginia in the spring, I will come back to this Residence Inn Marriott by the airport. It was an amazing experience. An easy 5 stars from me.

Amazing time! Stayed here the night before an early flight after checking out of my beachfront stay. I got confused by the app and thought that early check-in was confirmed for me, but it wasn't (totally owning up to that being on me!)
I chatted through the app with the front desk to see if I could please get early check-in, because the alternative was me basically hanging out with all of my luggage somewhere for 6 hours until the official check-in. I was STRESSED about this, like mega stressed, because I really wasn't feeling amazing and I just wanted to go lay down. I had very little hope of them being able to accommodate me but THEY FOUND ME A ROOM TO CHECK IN EARLY TO! To say I was ecstatic is an understatement. Once I got there, I checked in at the desk and met my girl Peyton (literally the real MVP of this hotel) who is the one I had been chatting with. Let me just say that her energy was ABOVE AND BEYOND what I'd expect from anyone working in the service industry, especially on a busy holiday weekend. But she was super positive, really kind, got me an upgraded room since that's what was available for early check-in.. we even talked about how we are both "foreigners" to the Virginia area since we both are native to other states. Honestly she just totally turned my stressful, migrained day into a great one. I am calling out Peyton a lot here because she's who I interacted with the most, but I also have to give a shout out to the super nice and helpful lady who checked me out of the hotel the next morning, as well as the shuttle driver, both really kind, sweet people who helped make getting up for an early flight more pleasant. 😊

The room itself was super clean, comfortable, well decorated. Didn't get a chance to try the pool or get breakfast because I was basically just sleeping off a migraine before going to an early flight, but I want to check them both out next time. This will 100% be the hotel I stay at anytime I'm in Norfolk. ❤

You know that when you come to a Marriott, you’re going to get a good stay. Like most of the Marriott’s I e stayed in, the lobby was modern and bright. The service was excellent. The room was spacious, and could have fit probably four people in in. And nothing beats a Marriott mattress, nothing. I’ve have never slept better.

I will always stay at a Marriott, wherever I go.

All the staff here are great. I interacted the most with Cheryl at the front desk and I must say she has to be the sweetest, most polite, hospitable, courteous and kind individual I have met at any hotel. This lady sets the bar for how staff should treat their guests. It wouldn't surprise me if her responsibility was to train others nationally for her position, unless she wasn't into it.

Flew up to Norfolk to visit with family. 8.8.23-8.12.23. The staff at the front desk were so kind and friendly. One of the best experiences I've had. This will be my go to when returning.

Had a weekend stay while our house was being sold and being shown by potential buyers. They made having kids and 3 pets at a hotel a breeze. The accommodations were great, I wasn’t expecting such a nice layout. Lots of breakfast options and staff is so sweet. We plan on staying at the VB location next as we wait for our townhouse to be ready. I would absolutely recommend staying here.

Reagan, Brianna, Pam, just to name a few of the staff members that went above and beyond with customer service to make sure my stay was all that and more. Thank you ladies..A lot of the hotel was being remodeled so there were certain areas that couldn't be used. The remodeled rooms are just lovely. There are kitchen appliances, dish wash, pots, pans, bowls, utensils, full size refrigerator, coffee machine, electric stove, etc. The couch in the living room is a full size pull out (ask the front desk for sheets and a cover if you're going to be using it). Clean, clean, and clean.

There is also a laundry facility on the 3rd floor, $2 for the machines(pay by card), if you don't like traveling with dirty clothes, like me lol & it's clean. Complimentary breakfast in the morning. There's a variety of foods to choose from for all different eaters. The gym is 24 hours, the pool is from 10am-8pm, there is a tennis court, pool table, lounge areas, a banquet area & a free shuttle to and from the airport..

Overall a great, clean, fun stay. THANKS AGAIN.

This particular hotel is GREAT for my needs!

It’s frighteningly close to the airport, right on a main artery for travel and navigation, is centrally located near fast food, take out/delivery restaurants, and has excellent parking facilities!

The staff all ALL professional, adept at customer service, and dedicated to customer satisfaction!

The rooms are spacious and well kept and the maintenance staff is extremely responsive to anything that arises!

Did I mention the pool and hot tub!!?!!

Value for money = Superior!!!

THE STAFF!!!! 5 STARS!!! I've never felt more welcome at any accommodation I've stayed at. The staff was always welcoming and very easy to work with. The hotel is very clean(although alittle dated, which the staff told me that they will be soon doing renovations) the breakfast was very good. And the rooms were very well taken after. I will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Cheryl and Terriko are very welcoming here at the Airport Marriott Residence Inn in Norfolk. This is our second time to stay here. The room is clean, neat and spacious. It is very quiet in our room even though there is alot of traffic in the vicinity. They offer a complete tasty breakfast! Although they do not have a restaurant/bar in this hotel there is a Delta Marriott hotel across the street that serves libations and a full service meal! Thanks you Marriott Residence Inn.

Stayed here 2 weeks while on travel for work, and I have nothing but praise for the hotel, and especially the staff. The entire staff here is nothing short of Awesome. Being diabetic and on insulin it has to be kept cool, and the refrigerator was not working. I notified the front desk, and with 15 minutes maintenance had change it out for a new one. A few days later the light went out in the kitchen, and withing 10 minutes maintenance had the bulbs replaced. Neither of these were the hotel's fault, as things go bad, but they immediately took care of both. Every morning and evening as I passed the front desk I was given a "Good Morning" or "Good Evening" with smiling faces. My entire stay was nothing short of fantastic, and I plan on making this my hotel of choice when traveling to Norfolk for work, as I do not feel I would find better service anywhere else. Highly recommend!

The staff was extremely friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed my night stay. Internet speeds were pretty good for streaming.

Very attentive and helpful staff. Everything was clean and neat. It was wonderful being able to have our pup with us as well. The included breakfast was amazing! So much variety of fresh food, not dried out under heat lamps. Definitely will stay again!

I think they have new beds. They are so comfortable! Its making our stay so much better… I hate to wake up to a ‘broken back’ 😊🤩!!
