Red Roof Inn Virginia Beach - Norfolk Airport

Had the pleasure of staying at the Red Roof Hotel on April 25-29, 2024. Staff was very nice. Customer Service was definitely on point. Room was on very clean. Any questions that needed to be answered was addressed. I want to especially send my thanks to Chris and Das for their assistance when extending an extra day at the Red Roof Hotel was needed.

The front Desk guy Das really brought sunshine to my gloomy day I was having just with how polite and kind he was as he check me into my room. Also the rooms are always great when I stay so please be sure to do something nice for the staff there thanks

Only hotel in Norfolk I know of that let you bring your dog that an extra charge.. they've always been awesome

Update I've stayed here two more times since the last review I'm local I actually stay like 4 minutes away from this location. Sometimes I just want to get out of the house lol. Every time I've, I've had no problem with you guys and I've even woke up late when they don't check out day and the maids were still nice.. you guys will always be the choice over any other hotel in the area. My dog is with me and I will go nowhere without her. You guys are the only people that will let you bring your dog without an extra charge in the rooms are still nice. Please keep that policy that is the best thing in the world. A lot of people have animals support animals excetera and it's really nice to be able to know that you can bring your companion animal with you. I even left my pillows one stay and they were in the office waiting for me to come pick them up. I hope y'all don't go anywhere I love this location

Iv stayed at this hotel many times. I will continue to stay at this hotel when I'm in the area. Wonderful staff, willing and ready to go above and beyond in all occasions. This location has made me a loyal red roof customer. Thank to there service during my stays . Red roof inn is my number 1 go to hotels every where I travel. We requested king non-smoking first floor with two nightstands because of our bipaps, for a five night stay. Check in was easy and pleasant and room just as requested. We were surprised at how good the water pressure is and pleased with cleanliness all around. The tub was slick so we bought a safety mat at Target for $4.99. The air from wall unit does not smell musty or smokey - so happy! Maids are a delight too. We weren't sure what to expect from some of the online reviews but our experience has been very good. We are Red Roof Ready Card members.

Rooms were clean, Shower stayed hot, I slept like a baby. Woke up refreshed and the staff was outside on my way to get coffee and they were very friendly and funny. I had no problems at all. For a 3 star hotel, I had a better stay than the $150 double tree down the street, for fraction the price. I left in an awesome mood

Room experience was great! Everything was very clean including the floors! Comfortable stay and the staff(especially housekeeping) were very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again if I can get the same clean, non smoking room. Five stars for now

We really liked this hotel. The room looked exactly like the picture posted online and it was pretty nice for the cost. I was surprised at the variety of channels we were able to watch on TV during our down time and the WiFi was pretty good. I am usually disappointed when it comes to showers in hotels and the pressure and temperature of the water but I was pleasantly surprised that the water was nice and hot and the pressure was good! I would make a note though that the water could get extremely hot if you put it over too far, just a warning. The beds were nice, plenty of pillows and the room was made up very nicely when we got back from our day at the beach. The location of it was great as well, not too busy and only 14 miles away from Virginia Beach.

Very clean room. We liked the tiled floors that are much cleaner than carpeting that you usually find in motel rooms. There are several fast food eateries within a few blocks of the Red Roof. Roosters is on the other side of the gas station next door. Don't miss it for a great breakfast! Our room had a microwave, small refrigerator and a 32" LCD TV with cable.

We stayed here recently while on vacation visiting Virginia Beach. We had 3 families in our party with a total of 13 people. They provided us with 3 rooms all next to one another with 2 beds in each room. The beds were comfy and the rooms were clean and well taken care of. All of the employees were super nice and made us feel welcome. The hotel isn't very far from the beach and has cheaper prices than the hotels that were closer so if you don't mind driving for 10 minutes to get to the actual beach then this is the way to go. The kids enjoyed the pool and each room had a mini-fridge and a microwave. We would definitely stay here again when going to Virginia Beach.

They was nice and clean huge bed I just enjoyed my stay I will be back soon I even got a first floor room .big TV yes I got my rest on and peace and quiet

I don’t care what anyone has said, about this hotel! I had a great experience on mi 1 week vacation stay! Dana, at the front desk was such a sweetheart (I’ve been too a lot of cities/hotels) and I’ve never truly met anyone like her (she has a heart of gold and she makes sure that the workers do good for the travelers that come to stay! “Remember if ppl don’t take pride in there hotel it will say a lot about the place and no one will not want to stay if it’s not up to part”!!!!!! I felt so welcoming even mi housekeeper “Darlene” was amazing she also takes pride in what she does! “Viewers remember everybody has a job to do and everybody has not been Dealt with a sliver spoon in their mouth”!!!!!! I will be back to stay here on mi next vacation!

Very nice clean room. We've already booked our room for vacation in May. This was a very sudden unexpected trip and red roof was right on time with a good room and a great price. And we got to bring our dog at no additional price. Thank you

Great experience at the this Red Roof Inn! The staff was always friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and have the necessities needed for a peaceful stay. They provide juice, coffee and Krispy Kreme donuts every morning in the lobby. All in all for a few nights stay I was comfortable, treated nicely by everyone and enjoyed my stay for the very reasonable price. If I'm in the area again this will be where I check in. Thanks to everyone at the Red Roof Inn!

I moved from Hawaii to Virginia Beach and was in to process of house hunting. My family is currently at my mother-in-laws so it was just me and my dog traveling. I traveled from California to here and stayed at many different hotels, motels, ect. This is by far the best I've stayed at for the money! All I really need is a clean bed, shower and working TV which Red Roof Inn provided. They don't charge for pets (1 only, if more there's a fee) which saved me tons of money. On our road trip here, I spent an average of $90 a night and was very displeased with the accommodations others provided for the money. At less than $50 a night here, it was perfect. I thought the front desk woman was amazing, the men are a little less friendly but all in all a very good experience. The neighborhood takes some getting used too but the parking lot is very well lit and I felt safe. If you're on a budget and need a clean, friendly place to stay i highly recommend this place!!

Well worth the price. Very clean room thanks to our housekeeper Cookie. She was fantastic, had a great personality and kept our room neat and spotless. The coffee and doughnuts in the morning were a nice touch.

Stayed there on April 28th. And I wish that google would have shown me this hotel FIRST! Great customer service and the room was good for the price. Everything was excellent.

The accomodations were great and friendly staff. When we arrived our reservations were in order and we were given a room by the pool. Thank you for a great two days. We will return.

All of the staff have been very polite and friendly. The rooms and parking lot are clean as well. I'd stay again.
