La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Clearwater South

Had a pleasant stay here and enjoyed all the amenities. My room was clean and the breakfast was good. The extra deposit they charge does take 3 days to fall off the credit card which I found inconvenient but I would stay here again.

The manager who checked us in was friendly and helpful. For the price the rooms were nice and very large. Ask to be on the quiet side of the hotel. The free breakfast wasn't very good like the sausage was so overcooked and cold I couldn't even bite through it.

It's always a great place to stay! Clean, well-kept, nice staff, reasonable prices, convenient and centrally located.

I was in the hotel for almost 3 weeks. This La Quinta was such a wonderful hotel. The grounds are well kept, the rooms are large and spacious. My room was cleaned and restocked every three days. I know Lisa cleaned and stocked my room a few times. It was so nice coming "home" to clean sheets, towels and room. Stephen Woods is the GM and he was so friendly and personable. Dawn Basic is one of the managers she was always checking in on me to make sure my room was nice and I had everything I needed. Tonie was usually at the front desk and so very kind to me. The breakfast has great choices and the hours were easy for me to grab a bite to eat most days. Todd was always making sure everything is stocked, no matter what time I came to eat. The pool was nice to lounge around when I did have down time and the hot tub was large and spacious and open until 10pm. I was out here for a family emergency and the staff made me feel at home. This LaQuinta was the best place I could have stayed. Close to so many stores, restaurants and the beach. As I mentioned a couple of names of people who made me feel at home, all of the staff were really wonderful. Andrew and Dickson seemed like the maintenance crew always waved and said hello when I passed them. Thank you for giving me a home away from home during such an uncertain time. I will definitely stay here again whenever I'm in the area!

Nice, well kept location. More than one chair in a king room would be more comfortable. I recommend a room that has an even # because of us 19 road noise.

Was here on business. Staff was great and the accomodations too. Hotel was very clean. Would stay here again.

We arrived late, checked in with no problems. Room was nice and breakfast was great.

Everything was great, down to the Dove soap they provide. My 1st shining star is Catherine who handles the breakfast, she is absolutely incredible!! Super nice, quick and kept everything stocked! My 2nd shining star is Patty who was our housekeeper. She was so nice and kept answering all of my questions about the area. Overall the staff is fantastic. We will be back!!

Very clean and good staff

The only thing is that breakfast is from 6 to 9, I think It should be until 10, people taking vacations won't wake up too early to take breakfast. Despite that, the hotel worth it!

Friendly and helpful staff, the entire hotel smells clean and fresh, everything in and around it is in great condition. Complimentary breakfast in the lobby won't be featured on Food Network but there's good variety that's fresh and tasty. Coffee above average. The fitness center has 2 ellipticals, a treadmill and bike. Outdoor pool looked clean and well maintained. Overall a nice place to stay that's conveniently located if you need to stay in Seminole/Largo.

I have stayed at many hotels in my time. THIS particular location has been amazing.
To be honest, the service here was the best I have had. We had a home issue and had to get out of the house while it’s getting fixed and I’m SO GRATEFUL that this is where we landed for 2.5 weeks. My cat had to come with us and they were beyond accommodating. They beat the price listed on any app by paying them directly. I prefer to do my own room service and they allowed me to use their cleaning supplies including vacuum and all. The manager Jeff Was so kind and you could just really tell that he takes pride in his job and the hotel. That’s not something you see much anymore, and it was genuine.
And no, nobody asked me to write this review but I wanted to. It’s spring break and everything was booked. Every Airbnb and nice hotel on the beach… booked full. It was some miracle that we found a place to stay and I would definitely recommend it.

Upon reaching the hotel, it looked nice from the outside, updated. The front desk gentleman was very nice, welcoming, and professional. The room smelled clean and fresh when i first entered. I have stayed here before and have had no issues with cleanliness, which is very important to me. This hotel is not on the beach, but is in a pretty good location for the beach, the airport, and any sightseeing u wish to do.

This hotel still feels new for the most part. Nothing was broken or out of commission in my room or elsewhere. The bathtub has a nice insert on the bottom that provides good traction. I'm not sure why that's not standard everywhere. Staff were helpful and friendly with one exception, whom also recoded my door key when I said it wouldn't open my room. I just told her my room number, didn't even ask my name to confirm I should have access to said room -- concerning.

Great choice for Clearwater area. Quiet area nice rooms comfortable bead good breakfast especially the bagels, special shout out to Jeff who checked me in and Beatriz in the morning both where kind and welcoming felt very welcomed and appreciated as a platinum member. My go to hotel for Clearwater.

Staff was great and helpful! Room was comfortable, neat, and clean. My husband and I were in Florida specially to visit Clearwater beach— the location of this hotel was very convenient. We often drop by the hotel to shower in between our other plans with no problem! Thank you being good to us!

The bed is comfortable, the room is clean, things work, and the room is laid out well. The guy at the front desk is helpful. The bathroom is cramped for 2 people. The hot breakfast consists of waffles, powdered eggs, and sausage patties. It is accessible directly from US Hwy 19 N without an official exit. I'm pleased with the hotel so far and very glad we chose it.

Very nice hotel. The entire staff was very professional and pleasant to work with. Our room was very clean with a very comfortable bed. They excepted our 2 small dogs without hesitation.
Keep this in mind. I checked the reviews at every hotel in this area. This La Quinta had the best reviews. The rooms are very affordable. The property is very well maintained.

The location is a little out the way, however, once you go out and about, its easy to get your bearings.
Right next door to shake and steak.
Really nice park across the road for an evening stoll too.

We checked in late on Tuesday night last week. Jeff was so wonderful and pleasant, probably the nicest person we’ve met in the hotel industry! The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was great! Lots of choices and filling! We choose this place because of the reviews and sure enough it didn’t let us down! Thanks Jeff!

Definitely recommend! It's very clean and up to date. Staff are accommodating and hospitable. The rooms are fresh and clean which is a greatly appreciated after driving all day. You never know what you're gonna get after booking online from out of state but we were very pleased upon arrival!!
