Taqueria y tienda "El Patron"

Best carne asada taco I’ve ever had in my life. Authentic Mexican grocery and taquería I stumbled upon while taking a Sunday drive, I had to turn around to check it out.

I've been driving by this restaurant for over a year meaning to stop in. I finally made the time to do so yesterday and was quite pleased.

It's the type of restaurant you'd expect to find in small local town with the owner greeting you and asking what he can get for you.

Not much to look at, but like I said it's a local place like you might find in a Mexican village. Good food!

I told him I needed to get something to eat and drink. The menu was hand written and without my glasses hard to read so he went through the menu until I stopped him at burritos.

Make this short, I think his mother was cooking and she made me a wonderful beef, bean, rice burrito that you only get from a traditional Mexican mother that's doing the cooking.

Great Food, great service, friendly people. Home made style tacos. Mexican drinks! And aguas frescas. If a place called them self Mexican restaurant and don’t serve Mexican beverage is not real Mexican restaurant What I like the most is the Mexican Pan.

This place never disappoints. It's my go-to place for any occasion. Very family oriented and very professional. I enjoy the variety of options I have and the food is very authentic and always spot on.
Especially where I come from, it's hard to find real authentic Mexican food at a reasonable price. El Patron is not expensive but very reasonable. I honestly think El Patron is slept on. People do not know how good it really is.

I am a huge Mexican food critic. I've only been there once their steak torta was the best I've had and all of Tampa including Plant City and St Pete not to mention their tamales were on point. I will definitely be visiting more often.

If you’re looking for “authentic” home cooked Mexican , this is it. It doesn’t get fresher or down home. The beef soup , soft tacos , sopes, and Gorditas is what we had. You can tell by quality of food and friendly service , it’s like being invited to family dinner,,,except it’s in Mexico , and 10x more incredible than you’d imagined. We drove from Tampa and would recommend the trip. Support family owned , minority owned business

Great authentic food ! I guess that how people call traditional family food in a modest setting. And this is it at El Patron ! the food is very good, the drinks are amazing ! don't miss the orxata or the tamarindo juice ! the soups are also great, and healthy ! Whitout forgetting the "patron" himslef, muy buena gente.

The best home made tacos in the area by far. Raul has a friendly smile for you and always will cook to order using high quality ingredients.

The best place to eat authentic Mexican food. Like Sopez" and Tacos" and tortas" Gorditas" and Quesadillas and more.. if you go and check out. You will love it.... El mejor lugar the comida mexicana es aqui. Selo Recomiendo..
