Our cat(a stray that was abandoned in our hot tub drained thankfully) caught a virus. I frankly thought the cat might pass. Dr. Blake one look knew what was wrong. He took “Figment” into his care, careful treatment, attention, time and love was administered. We got him back a week later, I was never so glad to see a happy cat. Thank you to Team Blake for saving our new kitten.

I recently transferred my baby boy to Dr Blake, and well he and his staff are just amazing! Dr Blake certainly knows his stuff. He diagnosed my boys skin cancer and when I heard the "c" work I broke down. He explained to me this was not a death sentence and my boy can be ok with treatment. A few weeks later I had enough $ saved for his surgery and had no doubt I wanted Dr Blake to perform it. The staff truly cares about your pet. Your pet is treated like family there. The office has a very "small town feel" and it seems the staff can bring their pets with them I love the Lil franchie dog who sits at the desk! Everyone there is kind caring and professional. I like their messaging system as well. They always respond quickly. It was verynice filling out his surgery concent online the day before making drop off a lil less stressful. If you want an affordable vet who is very knowledgeable Dr Blake is your go to guy!

I have posted a review for Dr.Blake and his phenomenal staff before but I had to write another updated review. The way in which he cares for the animals and their owners as well as being so knowledgeable with any problems my animals experience is mind blowing! My babies have been seeing Dr. Blake for over 5 years now and I truly could never imagine going anywhere else. He is always so kind, personable, and really takes his time to make sure that the animals receive the best and most necessary care that they need. I can truly say that if I had used any other vet in town I do not believe that my Great Dane or my cat would still be here today. He has truly saved their lives a couple of times, and for that I couldn’t be more grateful! Thank you again Dr.Blake and all of your kind and caring staff!

Have been taking my dogs to Dr Blake since before he opened his own practice. He is kind. I think he has helped my dogs have their best life.

Dr. Blake had to do emergency surgery on my dog. He took us in quickly, and was very compassionate. His staff was amazing and in the end, the bill was not overpriced. We immediately switched from the chaos of another local vets office to Blake’s. When your animal is sick, you need to feel like your vets office cares…this is it! 🥰🐾

My dog has ONLY been to this vet, and the one before as well. Very accommodating staff, realistic pricing, great reputation animal hospital with decades in the same location. Bella will not go anywhere else!

They took great care of my pitbull Sasha. She had a horrible experience with San Antonio animal hospital as I explained to the girls. They did a wonderful job with sedation and comforting Sasha. Popular, small town doctor and staff who will make you think you've stepped back in time. They even make payment arrangements that allow those who struggle financially to have access to excellent veterinary care. Should your pet needs quick care, they do everything possible to fit you in. After horrible Blue Pearl wanted over $2,000 to save my very sick cat, Dr. Blake fit me in; my bill was just a little over $200. They even held collecting my payment until my follow-up visit. Extremely caring staff. Office is not fancy; if you insist on posh, go elsewhere.

Took our Gala to dr Blake for emergency surgery she needed done quickly or she was going to die she had to have a total hysterectomy due to a serious infection! Dr Blake took her immediately preformed the surgery and at 4pm we picked her up ! We get the staples out this Monday! Thank u dr Blake and staff , if I could give u a ten I would definitely do it ! Soo glad I found this practice! Dr Blake takes the time to explain the procedure that he suggests.. very personable doctor and the estimate for teeth cleaning and surgery was beyond reasonable compared to other practices that were absolutely ridiculous!!

Dr. Blake is AMAZING! I would recommend them 100% of the time. He and his staff cares about the animals and they do not price gouge you. They provide EXCELLENT customer service and will work to fit you in even though they are extremely busy.

Dr. Blake and all of the staff are absolutely wonderful. They’ve always taken such amazing care of our babies and even have squeezed us in last minute for when we’ve had a concern that seemed time sensitive (sometimes it’s just us being overly paranoid, but having that peace of mind is nice). We’ve also boarded our dogs with them many times and they always take such great care of them. We couldn’t ask for a better veterinary!

Really lucked out being referred to Dr. Blake after moving to Dade City from St. Pete. It's completely obvious that this is more than just a local vet. He and his AMAZING staff are passionate about what they do. My little one is close to 10 and unfortunately lost her sight as well as becoming diabetic. They really go above and beyond for our furbabies and always listen when your freaking out that your little one sneezes. I have driven from St. Pete to Dade City just so she sees all the girls who adore her and Dr. Blake and continue to do so. You all are ROCKSTARS!!!

Dr Blake thank you so much for taking so much care of Tinkerbell before she crossed the Rainbow Bridge. You and your staff were so professional and caring. You allowed me to stay in the room to spend as much time that I needed. You provided excellent care to her for over 12 years.

Love Dr. Blake!! He's thorough, doesn't break your bank account and is very good with my German shepherds. He's an excellent vet and his staff is extremely amazing!

Highly recommend Doctor Blake. All my concerns were answered and he didn't rush the appointment. Staff was friendly and his assistant was very helpful and patient. Nice environment.
