FUGU HIBACHI & SUSHI

The food is fresh and very good. All I can say is yummm. We tried several rolls and all were great but the gadzillo was amazing!!!! Tempura veggies were huge and great too. So glad we have them here in north port and have found a great new place to eat local.

We absolutely love it! We first tried Fugu about 5 or 6 years ago and it quickly became our favorite sushi restaurant. The quality of the fish is amazing and the price is great. We were worried what COVID would do to the business, but very glad they made it!

Fugu has awesome sushi, friendly staff, great pricing, and are always quick. Highly suggest it!

My girlfriend and I are regulars here. Great food, since the pandemic prices rose a bit, then inflation hit, made the prices a little higher, but it is still moderately priced all things considered.
No, they do not cook the food in front of you, but they do make hibachi style food. One of my personal favorites is the Combo Rice Bowl, it's a combo of Steak, Chicken, and Shrimp over either steamed rice or fried rice. It comes with a lot of rice so it is definitely filling.

Stopped by for a quick bite to eat during my break and wasn’t let down! Fast, cheap, and delicious. Will definitely be back!

Always a pleasure if you're in the mood for quick sushi and on a budget they got it covered and not bad either use it frequently to fill the gap

I ordered shrimp fried rice for lunch. Price was very reasonable and the food was spectacular!

One of the best sushi places I've been to in USA. They have a yummy and thoughtful menu. Friendly staff that helped as best they could. They even went the extra mile to make my dad's favorite sushi they didn't have on the menu and/or had never heard of because it was invented on the west coast, and they aced it. I felt really welcome here.

I LOVE this place! We need a lot more variety in the north port, port Charlotte area and this is a great start. I highly recommend it.decent prices, great food, and their restaurant has a great atmosphere

The food is fantastic! My favorite sushi is the Godzilla roll, and I LOVE the Udon. The place is quiet and peaceful, and the food wait is almost nothing! Meaning you get your food quickly, and it's nice and hot!
