Catch 27 in St Augustine was absolutely delicious. We ordered the deviled eggs with fried oyster for appetizer. For our main entrée, we had blackened pasta with shrimp, served on Risotto & the beef brisket which came with green beans and mashed potatoes, which was so delicious and tender and cut like butter.😋
For drinks, we had margaritas. Oh, and definitely try the hot butter rum, which I had never heard of but it was simply delicious. You have your choice to sit indoors or outdoors, so we sat outdoors and the weather was so perfect. Our server, Erin was very pleasant, checking on us making sure we were never in need. They even have heat lamps for those more chillier days. Service was wonderful and we would definitely visit again. Oh, and they are pet friendly, which is really nice.

After a long day of travel, this was a perfect place to spend the evening! The food was delicious (I'd like to request that carrot cake every year for my birthday!) and the service was impeccable. Looking forward to stopping in, again, when I'm in St. Augustine.

We came here on Valentine’s and the food was great! We started with the crab & pimento cheese dip and it was excellent.

I would have loved some additional flavor in the pesto sauce that came with my blackened fish pasta, but the fish itself was cooked to perfection. On the other hand, my partner got the fresh catch and loved it.

For dessert we went with the chocolate creme brûlée. Although delicious, I wish it would’ve come warm.

Speaking of warm, we had to share a heater with another table on a particularly cold night and it was a bit far from us, so we were cold. The server made no effort to adjust it for us, which was a miss.

All in all, great food and ambiance. Highly recommend!

Table seated for early dinner, no reservation but inside tables (in converted old house) were full in 1 hour. Had the vegetable risotto with chicken and wine. Dish was flavorful and wine by glass reasonably priced. Excellent service, small bar and tables inside, lovely courtyard for outside dining.

Deviled eggs and fried oysters were the best dish of the weekend. And I'm not a big oyster guy. Gumbo was also amazing. Service was great. Not a fan of the cramped house atmosphere but we just focused on the food and conversation.

My husband and I dined here on the recommendation of the Inn we were staying at and it was fabulous. The outdoor patio was absolutely stunning with the water feature and lighting. Our server was pleasant and the meal from start to finish was delicious. This will certainly be added to our go to restaurants when we’re in St Augustine!

I haven't been here in a while, but it's still an amazing place with a lively atmosphere. What's even better is that my girlfriend, who has dietary restrictions, found a plethora of gluten-free and vegan options on the menu. The kitchen was even able to customize a few dishes for her – for instance, they replaced the oysters with shrimp, and our waitress agreed that it looked fantastic! We're definitely planning to return!

We made a reservation and were promptly seated when we arrived. We opted for the patio, fresh air and a nice garden provided great ambiance for our dinner.

We had shrimp tacos, Minorcan clam chowder and soy Szechuan salmon. Everything was fresh and delicious. The chowder is a little spicy, so be warned. This is our second time and it was just as good as the first time.

I also had a mock tail, fresh ginger ale. The ginger had a bite that was set off by the sweetness and carbonation. Would get it again!

Dessert was blueberry crisp with vanilla ice cream. Great summer dessert, plenty of blueberries with the tartness offset by the vanilla ice cream. Great way to end a meal.

We had an amazing experience at Catch 27! Service from Sunny was great and the food was incredible. We got the summer pasta and the Szechuan shrimp and scallops. We were blown away and they even gave us a congratulatory dessert since we were on our honeymoon. We will definitely be back and recommend to anyone in the area!

Made reservations for dinner with my fiance to celebrate his b'day. Food and ambiance were great. We sat outside which had fans in the FL heat.

Reservations would be ideal as the restaurant gets crowded .

Definitely be back again.

We had a great experience for dinner here and would come back again. Friendly staff who all worked together to take orders, serve, and clear tables. Mojitos were delicious and refreshing. The crab and artichoke appetizer was so good I wished there was more. I ordered the tacos with the fresh catch (flounder blackened) and my fiancé ordered the risotto with the fresh catch (flounder grilled) and both were amazing. The outdoor dining had a nice green area and plenty of shade to enjoy the meal and not be hot in the sun. We made a 5pm reservation the same day by calling the restaurant which made getting in very quick and easy. I highly recommend checking this place out on your trip!

The smoked salmon dip was without a doubt one of the tastiest things my girlfriend and I have ever ate. Mahi-mahi and shrimp Asian salad were top notch. Recommend for anyone in the St. Augustine area

Simply put, the food was fantastic. Wife and I shared the deviled eggs with fried oysters, pear and blue cheese cheese winter salad, and saon and lobster gnocchi. The eggs were perfectly served on a mound of tomato bacon compote, the salad was amply covered with blue cheese chunks and sugared pecans, and the lobster gnocchi was a surprise with roasted root vegetables with a light cauliflower and parsnip puree. We enjoyed 2 cocktails each, both fantastic and generous pours, and ended the dinner with the sticky toffee pudding, which was served with a caramel whip cream.

As we didn't have reservations – the indoor space is tiny – we enjoyed seats at the bar. The bartender Marcus – congrats on your engagement!! – was highly attentive and chatty, offering us samplings of some cocktail dressings.

The only downside was the price was a bit more than desired, ringing in at $170. $45 for the lobster and $15 for the dessert seems a bit heavy, even in these times of inflation.

I have been here at least a dozen times and never once been disappointed. Excellent restaurants are all about consistency and this place has it. A carefully crafted menu with memorable flavor combinations and mindfully sourced ingredients. I personally love the outside atmosphere but of course it depends on the weather. The inside is small and the wait can get pretty long so if you really want to eat here I recommend reservations (if they take them) or showing up early before the rush to see if they can get you in. But we just at here earlier this evening on a Tuesday in September and it was nice and quiet. Enjoy a variety of seafood dishes and more with interesting creations you just won’t find anywhere else in town. Again, consistently excellent in my opinion. And the service has always been great and friendly. Tonight my wife had the Cuban Rice Bowl with Mahi and I had the Blackened Pasta with Salmon.

We recently dined at Catch 27 in St. Augustine and had an amazing food experience! The restaurant is in the heart of the George Street tourist area.

The moment we walked in, the server was friendly and welcoming. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, with a rustic feel and low soft light.

Onto the food - it was outstanding! The menu had a great variety of fresh seafood options, all locally sourced and cooked to perfection. We had blackened Mahi Mahi tacos, which were packed with flavor and paired perfectly with the house-made chipotle sauce and guac. For our other entrees, we had the shrimp and grits with collard greens, 5 pepper relish with sherry cream sauce and Catch beurre blanc (bok choy, and a light lemon caper sauce) both of which were exceptional.

Only minor issue was that when we walked up to the hostess the wait time was 1 hr 40 mins (at 6.30pm) on a Friday evening, we did put our names but decided to look for another restaurant with shorter wait time, found parking and by then received a txt in 16 mins that the table was ready at catch27! Fortunately we were walking distance so we rushed back, but their reservation/table system definitely isn't accurate we were scrambling back and forth with parking/walking. Anyways so if you go out your name, just hangout there and your turn will come quickly.

Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere at Catch 27 were all top-notch. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic seafood experience in St. Augustine.

Wonderful food, wonderful evening dining experience outside on their back patio. Our server was Kate and she was awesome! Would definitely dine here again.

Fantastic service and food. Definitely worth the hour wait. I’ve never had a reservation. Just stop in and give them your phone number. Go back to your room or a local bar and wait for the text message. The fried oyster deviled eggs are phenomenal! Melt in your mouth oysters! OMG! Prices are on point. Love this place!

The deviled eggs with oysters is one of the best things I've eaten in as long as I can remember. The balance of everything was actually masterful. The salads here are consistently amazing and the ingredients are well chosen and very fresh. 1000% recommend. Worth every penny.

We stopped in for dinner before walking around Nights of Lights, and so glad we did. Luckily, it was a Tuesday evening because we didn't make a reservation and I had heard this place fills up quickly (here's your sign to go ahead and make the reservation if you're on the fence). We got right in, but they were still full, given the smaller location.

They offer outdoor and indoor seating. It was chilly out, so my aunt wanted to sit inside, but the heaters that are provided outside definitely would have given off ample warmth. No matter - the inside is quaint and nautical and gave off a very "fisherman's quarters" vibe. We loved it.

The menu has a lot of different offerings. I really enjoyed that they let you mix and match the different fish you want. For example - they have grits and you can choose from the classic shrimp, or venture out into daring waters with a salmon or the catch of the day. I consider myself a daring gal - so I did just that with the catch of the day - the Corvina.

The grits came out in a cake, which I was not expecting, having been raised on traditional creamy, soupy-esque grits. But it was rich and full of flavor, especially paired with the perfectly cooked Corvina and the creamy, accompanied sauce. The collard greens were also cooked perfectly. I usually feel like I got the worst thing at the table, but this time I felt like a champion. Out of the tacos, the rustic plate, and the pork chop (all of which I was told were also delicious) - imo, this dish reigned supreme.

Oh, and we started with the bacon wrapped dates appetizer and the arugula ceasar salad. The dates were unbelievable! Sweet and fatty is already a winning combination but the bacon was thick and cooked perfectly (you know, sometimes it can be rubbery, unless you like that kind of thing. no judgements). I've been thinking of it since we were there a week ago. The ceasar salad was also very tasty. I liked that they once again dared to be different by using arugula as the base. My aunt even said that was the best ceasar salad she's ever had, and they are big fans of ceasar.

Overall I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone in the St. Augustine area looking for a delicious meal.
