Vicki Cottrell is easy to contact, incredibly professional and knowledgeable. She should clone herself to be in other industries to eliminate the challenges of doing business in other fields and I will stay with World Insurance Associates as long as Vicki is a consultant for peace of mind.

I run a business located near West Coast Insurance and they handle both my business insurance, as well as my personal. Both Representatives have been great, calling me whether they are at work or not, responding quickly to any messages I have left them, and have ensured to help me stay as covered as possible during accidents and incidents.

The Receptionist always answers promptly, no robots to deal with, and always does their best to get me to who I need to speak to.

Very happy with their services, and I will never go through another insurance group again, I'm sticking with these guys.

Good overall, and highly recommended. The staff are friendly and have a good attitude. Really great service. They are welcoming here if you walk in on your own time. If you have issues, and bring them to their attention, you can expect your issues to be resolved. You need to follow-up yourself though. I recommend this place. You just need to stay on top of things. The staff I have dealt with do not follow-up of their own accord to make sure things are okay. I want follow-ups to make sure that everything is okay, and that’s my only reason for the four stars.

Can't seem to find anyone that can direct me to the proper person or agency for my insurance policy.

West Coast Insurance Group in St. Petersburg was OK over a year ago when I initially created my auto policy. I had switched from one company to another. However, I purchased a new car on 5/27/2014 and wanted to add this car to my existing policy. I called their office on 5/28 and they said they would call me back in a few minutes. Over 24 hours have passed and I still have not received a call back. In the insurance industry, with many agents to choose from, this is not acceptable practice for a company that wants to keep my business. Your case may be different, but I immediately switched to an agent that I know is reliable and responds to my emails within minutes.

In late November we should have been renewed on our Tapco insurance but never received a bill. After several attempts to reach my Agent at World Insurance, I was told that my policy had expired. I was assured that a notice had been issued but this is not the first time this has happened. I asked for another quote to reinstate my policy and received a new quote with the caveat that Tapco no longer offers wind insurance. Kind of important in Florida. My agent said that she needed a 4-point inspection in hand to shop the policy with other carriers. So I paid $175 for an inspection (by the way, though it wasn’t mentioned, I assumed you needed the Windstorm Mitigation inspection as well, so I got that too). Forwarded the inspection results via email on 1/4 and never received a response. I have called the World Insurance office no less than 30 times in the month that followed and left messages for my agent, general message and with the receptionist. I have been without home-owners insurance for two months now. This is an issue that, apparently, I am the only person interested in resolving. Do you want my money? After looking at the google reviews im not sure.

I concur with the folks who have said that this company used to be great, but is no longer. I've had repeated incidents since the changeover of trying to get in touch with my agent, and not getting a call back. I got a cancellation notice directly from the insurer as a form that World Insurance must submit on my behalf was never submitted. I called the insurer to see if it's a form I can submit on my own behalf, but was told I may not. I need World Insurance to submit for me. I've left 3 messages since 9/12/22, and today when I called and got an operator, I was told that an "urgent" email would be sent to my agent asking her to call me back. We'll see if that works.
