Little Orient Restaurant

The Little Orient is a small family run restaurant. They have been slowly opening since Covid. Their restaurant is back open although it’s still not full service.

You can call ahead or order online. We called with our order, then we sat and ate at the restaurant. It’s a quaint restaurant. We were the only ones there but we remember what it was like before Covid hit.

The food is great. It’s fresh, made to order Chinese food. We’ve been eating here for years.

Rare find that serves pan fried noodles. Reasonable price, generous portion, easy drive through pickup.

Wish they had almond cookies.

Enjoyed LO for the first time. Ordered takeout for lunch. Good food and service. It was a pleasant experience, happy all the way around! We had recently experienced the opposite at RJ in Layton. Glad co-workers suggested LO.

I have been going to this restaurant since I was ten. I LOVE IT. The food here is amazing and the people who run the place are the best. I honestly couldn’t recommend it more highly. Thank you so much, Cindy!

Yhe food is great, not to mention you can take out, drive through window, or they deliver. But all those seem a waste considering how beautiful the inside is. A must stop and eat spot.

I tried shrimp with lobster sauce and was very surprised by how good it was. Fair price for good sized shrimp and good portion $12.95. I also left my wallet on the counter and the young man had it saved for me in a safe spot. 2 Thumbs up for that visit. Their fried appetizers are pretty good too. Tried the healthiest veggie dish on the menu...and it was OK. What, really, could one expect from that though? Shrimp w/ lobster sauce was good enough for me to go back....and they have a convenient drive- through window.

I've been here quite a few times, and I'm never disappointed. Atmosphere is good, but most of the time I get take out. Food is tasty and hot. Prices are good and there's plenty to eat. I usually rate my restaurants on how good their hot and sour soup is - and it's great!

When I was young, one of my brothers used to work here, and would often bring ham fried rice home- and I would stay up late to eat it. Their food has always been delicious, and is frankly among my favorite food I've ever eaten. I always want it for my birthday dinner. (:
I love their cheese wantons, lemon chicken, and fried rice. Dining in was always pleasant, though most often we just order over the phone and pick it up to eat at home. It's a small, family owned business, and I really hope they're able to survive this pandemic.

We have driven by this place for over 10 years and had never stopped in until last week. Don’t let the outside appearance fool you, this place has great food. Hands down the best orange chicken we have ever had. They even have a drive through so you can order ahead and pick up on your way home. This is our new Chinese spot here on out.

My family has been going to the LIttle Orient for a number of years now. The food is GREAT and lots of it and priced moderately. This is a family run operation and they take great pride in their food preparation. We enjoyed the restaurnat and are sorry it is closed now, but we continue to use takeout. All menu items are top of the line and genuine Chinese cousine.

This is our favorite chinese restaurant. We moved, but we always come here, if we're driving through. The last time we came, we ordered online. They have more options for spice online and we picked the wrong spice for what we thought was normal. So, I'd just suggest that the original recipe to be indicated for online ordering and it'll be perfect.

Best food I've had in a long time. Had Cashew Chicken lunch and it was wonderful. If you like Chinese, you will LOVE this food. Thank you, Little Orient. (Take-out lunch on Aug. 20, 2014) They deserve your business for serving quality food.

I love this place! It is right on the border of Layton and Kaysville. As a citizen of Kaysville I have frequented this place often over the years. I love their Sweet & Sour Chicken lunch special for only $4.99. It is delicious. I also love their hot and sour soup that comes with it. The owner and her family are awesome people as well. They also have a pretty awesome website.

Best Chinese around. I pass 4 other restaurants to get to this one. Call in and you can pickup at the window quickly. Order at the window and you will have to wait in your car. Anything you like Chinese wise is amazing. I like their combos. Just really good food.

I used to go here a fair amount, and have never been disappointed. The food portions were quite large. Very kind employees, and nice, quiet atmosphere. Would go again, guaranteed.

The best local Chinese place around! Their fried rice with the sprouts is AMAZING. Their orange chicken actually tastes of orange and not just straight sugar. Two thumbs up!

This has been local a family favorite of mine since I was a kid. The chicken fried rice and sweet and sour chicken are my favorite. Remember local businesses are struggling right now and these people deserve your support!

Really reminded me of authentic chinese food (not everything of course) but it was delicious! They were also very friendly and got our food quickly! I'm impressed

Maybe this place has a special place in my heart because my girlfriend and I actually had one of our first dates as we ate Chinese food here at my house. Their food is always amazing and the orange chicken is amazing, I would highly recommend coming here for Chinese food, who knows maybe even this place can become special to you too.

We enjoyed the food and were surprised at how nice it was inside. There was a huge line for take out though. I think partily because the waitress was brand new.
