The food is delicious. The service is quick and attentive. The atmosphere is more contemporary in nature and my wife and I thoughly enjoyed it! The prices are really great too. It is family friendly and the staff made us feel like we were welcome even when our 13 month old got a little upset. In a nutshell, they care about their customers and it shows.
We will be making this a frequent place to dine in the future!

Our food was great, as usual. The drinks were fantastic; we chose Platinum Margaritas. Sandra was attentive, quick, and paid attention to details many servers overlook. My husband is a carnivore and I am a vegetarian. We both ate well and Sandra made certain our 4 year old had a spoon for his rice and an extra cherry on his dessert so we could enjoy our drinks and talk.

We come here regularly for lunch but I want to specifically write about how great our company holiday party here was! We had about 60 people come in and the staff set up a fajita and nacho buffet for us. They were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed and more. The food was great and warm the whole time. It was also very affordable for a group our size. They let us spend time in the room and did not rush us. I would highly recommend it for a company party!

My company had an amazing Christmas party experience at this restaurant! Excellence customer service and very good authentic Mexican foods. They beautifully decorated our spacious private party room for about 50 people. We love Mr. Carlos and his outstanding Team! Can't wait till next Christmas. I have eaten here 3 times, twice during the weekday and once on a Friday night. Service and food have been excellent every time. I have also been working with the manager, Carlos, on a small party I am having there. Carlos has been extremely accomodating, easy to work with, with lots of good suggestions. Excellent experience. I know the party will be fun and well done.

Best Mexican cuisine I have had in a long time. The Chicken soup was so good, I had to take two home, not to mention the portions are very generous. If you get a beverage make sure you look at the glass. It was so cute, I bought two.

Great place with excellent food, service and value. This is a great improvement over the last place that had the same location. Food was very tasty and presented well. They had Monday happy hour with $3 off all drinks. Also had trivia night which was a lot of fun. Highly recommend you give it a try.

After moving to the buford area from South Texas last year, my husband and I have been on a hunt for a good Mexican restaurant. After being underwhelmed and disappointed in about 20 other area Mexican restaurants we decided to give this place a try and the hunt for our go-to Mexican spot has officially ended! Best Mexican food in the area, hands down! The service has always been amazing, the margaritas are great, the prices are reasonable. The steak fajitas are about as good as it gets, very tender and seasoned well. My mouth waters just thinking about this place.

Delicious food and friendly atmosphere! The whole staff was eager to make the experience there pleasant and fun. The margaritas were apparently delicious, I don't like margaritas but my family enjoyed a few of them :)

This place was absolutely amazing! The food was delicious and came out sooner than I anticipated. We had margaritas and they were perfect in size and you could tell they weren't watered down like a lot of places end up doing. The atmosphere was great and the wait staff very attentive. Also I love the glasses they have, very original and hilarious. I cant reccomend it enough, it is my favorite Mexican restaurant I have ever eaten at in my 31 years on this planet. I only wish i lived closer or they brought one closer to me. It Chimi-Changed my life!

Been here once. I enjoyed my time here so I will keep going back. I ordered the shrimp taco dinner. It was very good! Price was reasonable. Service was good, kept the refills coming.

Huge portions and such a polite and attentive staff. I’ve never been somewhere where the cook comes out personally to check on the food. There was a lady in the next table that didn’t like her soup. The head chef came out promptly to apologize and take it off the bill. Super professional!

We enjoyed our first dinner there very much! My husband's steak was amazingly tender. I had (and loved) the veg fajitas...really good. We'll be back.

This place is awesome. I am a Spanish teacher and lived in Mexico for over a year, so I’ve got pretty high standards for Mexican food. To be honest, most Mexican restaurants in the area offer the same typical, bland, unimaginative Mexican food. However, Pueblo Maya has surpassed my expectations and has become a favorite for my family. We probably eat here at least twice a month. The staff is incredibly efficient, patient, warm, and friendly and their service is always good. The blue margaritas deserve a glowing review of their own... just wow. Designate a driver if you have more than two! Don’t be afraid to try some of the Mexican specialties besides the quesadillas, nachos, and tacos (although those are good too) because everything is good! Keep in mind that Americans don’t eat their food as spicy as many other cultures so the food is prepared mild/medium to accommodate that and you can ask for it to be made spicier to your liking. We absolutely LOVE the chilaquiles, and the Xel-ha burrito (prepared Mexican flag style... red and green salsa on top of the cheese sauce). Try it for real... you won’t be sorry you did!

I recently visited this restaurant and all I can say is WOW!! The food is very fresh and authentic, the staff is very attentive to detail and extremely friendly and polite and the atmosphere is simply fantastic! If you are looking for a great place where you can experience authentic Mexican food at a great price then you have to try this place. I will definitely be back again!

I order off-menu as I try to eat Paleo...they didn't even hesitate. They brought exactly what I wanted and the food was amazing!!! The dining room was very comfortable and the kids had a blast.

Finally a great place to get great food in my backyard. This establishment has a great bar, great food, the service was very timely and friendly. I will be coming back over and over until I'm gray in the fade. I highly recommend the chicken chimichanga.
