Yokohama Sushi

This is the only place I can truly enjoy sushi. I love coming here so much! The serving staff is always so attentive and so amazing! The chefs are FANTASTIC. I always have great conversations with Leo, Lee-Anne, Toshi, & Happy. My usual is the Crunch Dragon Roll, On The Bayou, and Habanero Karai Roll! It's my fix every single time, and I LOVE it! The experience here at Yokohama is fantastic, and I wouldn't dare go anywhere else for my sushi needs!

Excellent service and Japanese cuisine. The atmosphere is cozy and quiet. The service is fast and friendly. This is my new favorite restaurant.

An unpretentious experience with fair prices and quality fish.
🦀 We had the soft shell crab appetizer - which was perfect and somehow only $10
🍣 Chu toro, medium fatty tuna for $7 a piece is a steal, and it was incredible… will probably go back and get about 10 pieces of just that.
🥯 🐯 The froofy rolls we got were the Bagel roll (pretty tasty and large) and the White Tiger Roll- both yum and a great deal.

We sat at the sushi bar and had a great experience / convo with Toshi.

Easy parking and quite possibly the best sushi spot in the vicinity of Brookhaven / Chamblee / Buford Highway.

Will definitely be back. This is definitely worth the drive from Midtown ATL.

Loved everything about this place! The service, the food, and the atmosphere!! Everything was great when my family, friends, and I dined here. Each sushi roll was rolled tightly and had great flavored. The menu has a lot to offer so the next time I am in the area, I would love to return. I wish I could remember our waitress’s name because she was so amazing! Very sweet and attentive!! Highly recommend this place!

I love everything about this place. The decor, the customer service and especially the food. One of the best sushi places I’ve been to. I ordered a roll to go (Crunch dragon roll) {Which is pictured} Only thing, the avocado is never evenly distributed throughout the roll. Nonetheless, super tasty & fresh. The rolls are pretty big in comparison to typical sushi places. The workers are so sweet and helpful. They also have daily specials!

My first time going here. Really impressed with the pork belly and ramen. The sushi was amazing. The rolls are quite big and yummy. I recommend trying Yokohama. They have a great selection on food from hamburger steak to some great ramen. Just go and try it, you won't be disappointed. I will definitely go back for seconds.

The establishment is easy to locate and has plenty of parking. The place is of decent size and welcoming. The staff is friendly. The food was lovely, both the Beef Hamburg and ramen are amazing. Overall I would recommend coming for a night dinner.

Nice place to grab a lunch or dinner. The sushi sizes are big and super tasty. We liked the Habenaro sushi the best. That is totally different and we eat a lot of sushi.

They close at 3 p.m. for break until dinner time. We were hungry after shopping and wanted sushi. Another sushi spot did not let us in at 2p. Yokohama did but said we had to order by 2:15, and we walked in at 2:11. We quickly ordered 4 rolls. But that was all we could get. Nonetheless, the food was great, and the restaurant looked nice.

We’re searching for a go-to sushi place, so stopped in here for dinner. We ordered the Chef’s Deluxe Sashimi for two of us. The two sides and roll are what made the meal. The Sashimi Salad was like a poke bowl without the filler. And while we ordered the grilled ribeye to ensure we left with full stomachs, that was unnecessary because the portions were excellently sized. The selections of sashimi were diverse and tasty. We tied it all together with hot sake, which was a great add. Oh, and the miso soup had great flavor. Service was attentive and kind.

My family and I love Yokohama because of the great food and amazing employees. The prices for quality and authentic Japanese food can’t be beat. My toddler can be a picky eater and will only eat steamed rice with a side of nori. The employees are able to accommodate this without any issues. Tonight, we forgot our to-go box on the table and our server came running outside to hand it to us. I can’t say enough good things about Yokohama and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for some good food!

Excellent lunch! Stopped by because we’re rarely on this side of town and we always love to try new places. The ramen was unctuous and the tempura was light and perfectly crispy. I just wish I had more space to try the sushi too. Will be sure to come back again.

Yokohama had very fresh sushi, a cozy atmosphere (albeit with some tasteful seasonal music), some of the best tea I’ve had at a Japanese restaurant, and very reasonably priced for the quality of the food! Would definitely come back!

This place was unexpectedly great. I loved the atmosphere you wouldn't expect it looking from the outside. And the food... I'll keep it simple and just say it was amazing. I love fried rice and to me they did it great.

Don't be discouraged by the outer appearance. The restaurant's interior is nice and cozy. The Chashu ramen is fantastic; the tonkatsu broth flavorful and the chashu super tender. Great spot for lunch.

Staff is super friendly, which is a plus in Atlanta. Food is superb absolute quality. No cutting corners in this establishment. My toddler literally finished his plate, which says a lot. Prices are worthy of your hard earned 💰. Stayed away because of the stigma of the old Chinese ghetto restaurant was nasty af. Crazy I am amazed by the new ownership.

This is BY FAR my favorite spot as of late. They have amazing lunch specials and really great portions! We probably come here 2-3 times a month, and it never disappoints. The Wednesday lunch special is my favorite - it’s a Chirashi and udon combo, and it’s the perfect amount of food.

The big surprise was the dinner combo we recently had. We rarely come here for dinner but decided to go, so we got the Chefs Deluxe Sushi combo, let me tell you.. IT WAS SO WORTH IT. For 64.99, you get a whole selection of digits, a couple rolls, and 2 appetizers. We got the agadashi tofu and the hamachi Kama. The hamachi Kama was a HUGE portion would have easily been 25$ alone. So worth it.

The sushi always seems to be fresh and I’ve never had a time when it felt old. Love this spot.

Lunch menu is so cheap but if you expected that on dinner, you will disappoint because same item and same potion but the price change 20-30$ for dinner. Expensive!!!!!
But I’m giving 4 star because taste really good and the price kind of deserves it.

The sushi and Japanese food here are just the regular and the right. I love the dinner of grilled salmon and miso cod here. Two people set is great, enough portions.

Delicious, no frills sushi. The inside is cute, but it’s not real date night vibes. They have beer and sake, but no cocktails. Great rolls, for cheaper than other sushi restaurants in the area. Fast service!

Between the two of us, we got two house salads, one miso soup cup, and three sushi rolls. It was plenty, and we had none leftover. We got the Samurai Roll ($12.25), Georgia Bulldog Roll ($13.95), and Oishi Roll ($14.25). The rolls were amazing. Very big pieces. So good.

We will definitely be back.

The sashimi from the sashimi deluxe dinner for two are thick cut. 8 different kinds of sashimi with 1 regular and 2 apps to choose from. Spicy tuna mountain roll is delicious. Chicken karage is tender. Tempura is crunchy. Everything is great. No extra charge for rice or hot green tea!
