Great customer service. Outside seating or indoor. Love the skillet breakfast, and fresh coffee. I love the atmosphere and that they recognize Sunday and are closed, and upon leaving Have a Blessed Day. The atmosphere is just peaceful and relaxing. It’s less then 5 minutes from my job this was my first time eating here. Great spot for pastry and a cup of coffee if you’re having a step away moment type of day at work for lunch. It will lift your Spirit. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I am in Fayetteville about once a year, and I always try to come to City Café for lunch each time. The service is great, the food is amazing and if you are a dessert lover like me, you will be astounded by their bakery selection!

The meal started out on a high note with a sweet greeting from our server, and a perfect Arnold Palmer tea.

The menu is varied, with some really terrific German options. I had the delicious flavor combinations of the Heidelberg chicken schnitzel, tender fried chicken cutlets topped with creamy melted Brie and a tangy sweet lingonberry sauce. It made all my tastebuds wake up and cheer!

The shrimp Poboy was enormous, on delicious soft, toasted bread and was well seasoned.

Then we took on the dessert case! From the decadent chocolate mousse-filled dome to the amazing raspberry cheesecake and lemon coconut cake, everything tasted simply amazing.

We left full and happy! Next time I’m in town, I’ll definitely be back.

This place is great from the moment you walk in the door. Service is wonderful, food is amazing, and the atmosphere is calming. This is a great neighborhood restaurant.

They have a new menu with more seafood choices. Their German food choices are always good! On Saturday nights, they usually have live, soft music, which is lovely. Not too loud! The old world atmosphere is very welcoming & the dessert counter is awesome with pastries, cakes and cookies.

All the items we got were great. They will sell 2 half cheesecakes for the price of one cake. Great because there is always that traditionalist who says the plain or simple topping one is best when everyone else loves the oreo one.

Absolutely love this little gem!! So serene and beautiful atmosphere, staff is very nice and the food is delicious!! My husband delivered here and told me about it so we checked it out on a Thursday, our day date time, it was outstanding! Kept this as our little spot. The bakery has such soft fresh bread available to purchase by the loaf and such wonderful treats as well. Love this place and we are becoming regulars now!

Went here for an anniversary date night. Beautiful inside. The atmosphere was wonderful. Had a gentleman playing wonderful, live guitar, lightly which added to the perfect ambiance. Food was delicious. We went with German dishes and beer, really so very good. The staff were wonderful and overall a delightful experience. Definitely recommend.

They have the best pastries in town! I’ve been coming here for over a decade for my sugar fixings. 🙂 The seasonal decorated cookies are always so cute! If I have a chance to dine in, I’ll update my review with info on my experience.

My first time to this quaint little spot and I loved it! I had a light lunch of quiche and soup, both of which were fantastic. The ham quiche was light, flaky and just delicious. The "soup" was something they called goulash. I was a little hesitant at first but was greatly rewarded with an outstanding dish. It was something in between chili and vegetable soup which worked together perfectly. Also bought a ton of sweet awesomeness from the bakery to enjoy later! A bit pricey but not out of the norm for the location. Will definitely be back!

I have always loved all their amazing bakery items over the years, and they never disappoint. But let me tell you, the dinner menu is impressive. This past weekend we celebrated a friend’s birthday at City Cafe and the staff were very helpful, professional and friendly. Service was great and our requests were accommodated with ease. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their dinner choices. I was totally impressed with their potato crusted grouper and loved the veggie options as well. I also had a bite of the shrimp and grits and the dish was delicious and well sized. AI highly recommend this restaurant for its great service,affordable prices and ambience.

Had a great lunch at the City Cafe. We were seated promptly and our server was quick to get our drink order in. Food came out quickly and was hot. I had the Jaeger Schnitzel which was outstanding. My wife had the Salmon and a friend had the Mushroom Crepes. Both were very good. And then came dessert! So many wonderful things to choose from. I had the Peach Bread Pudding. My wife and our friend had an Apple Tart and Chocolate Dome. All were amazing!! And of course we got some other desserts to go as well. Very good overall experience.

It's always a pleasure! They keep you warm if you're sitting outside with their outdoor area with done heating lamp. The food was also good! We ordered the gnocchi and chicken schnitzel. The gnocchi was a little too peppery but very tasty!

First time coming here and it is truly a hidden Gem. Food was spot on. Atmosphere a 10. And Alexandra was absolutely amazing.

Summer salads, fried green tomatoes, fish sandwich, amazing pastries! Our server was courteous, warm and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was sophisticated and inviting. The food was flavorful with selections for everyone. A lovely place for brunch or a celebratory dinner.

Got up early to get some pastry snacks and was not disappointed at all, I have driven by City Cafe hundreds of times and never knew how uniquely special it is. I will have to return to get those lunch or dinner as it looked amazing, German food and from what I hear it’s a must. As for the quality of my purchase, see the photos as nothing but 5* and I’ll be back for sure.

This place has a chill, chic vibe. Food was delicious, but be prepared to wait almost a half an hour for your food to be cooked. It was worth the wait, however.

My parents live in Senoia & my mom said City Cafe is a must. We visited for Thanksgiving & popped in here one evening for dinner. The food was wonderful! I had the chicken schnitzel & my husband had the pork schnitzel. We got a chocolate cheesecake for dessert. Stopping by the bakery will definitely be a must every visit now!

Good food and Emmanuel has great service every time! The Caesar Salad dressing has a bit too much Mayo. Other than that, perfect !

Food was great, and the service incredible, the attention we receive from the waitress was outstanding, washrooms were clean.

Love the fact you don’t Pay bank fees if you pay with cash (cash is king), I have never understood why people who pay cash has to subsidy the ones that pay with credit card on bank fees when the business have to increase the prices to cover the cost, let’s support these businesses.
