The Twisted Oar

I came here with my family and really enjoyed the laid back atmosphere and lake views. Had Jada as a server and she brought our drinks out super fast and made sure we were well taken care of. Will be recommending to friends!

We only had an appetizer. Went there for happy hour and to see area/ marina while visiting Lake Lanier. Servers were very friendly. They really need a bigger sign to identify The Twisted Oar. We are not from area & only saw the "crew" black t-shirts in parking lot that we thought to stop by.

This is my favorite restaurant on Lake Lanier. I always enjoy my time and the food and drinks are amazing. They have a friendly and hard working staff that go out of their way to take care of everyone. Ryan makes amazing drinks as well!

Enjoyed dinner with friends. A great place to end the day after being on Lake Lanier. I had the burger with onion straws, delicious. Saturday night they had live music, great band. Our waiter took great care of us.

Great social place to meet friends for lunch or dinner and a great location on the lake. The food is always good, love the fish tacos, and very friendly staff that take care of you. Julia was awesome and very attentive! I will be visiting again soon!

Wonderful place. Excellent food. And best of all you don't have to pay for parking because it's not in Lanier. You still are right on the water. Will be going again. Fish tacos were exceptional.

Had Lexi as our server. Excellent service! Awesome lake view atmosphere. Food is very good! Drinks were outstanding! A little more variety in the menu would be welcome.

Twisted oar is definitely a place to make memories! The food is awesome and people are always friendly! Jada is the best server they have. She is always friendly and attentive! Jada is always supportive and has been the best server I’ve ever had! She has helped me through some hard times without even knowing it and her service and positive attitude has changed my life! If you visit ALWAYS request Jada!

Went here for the 1st time and was greeted with the sweetest girl with the prettiest smile. Her name was Julia and she was super helpful and cheered me up when I was having a rough day. Food was great too!

Jada was an excellent server. efficient and had a friendly and welcoming personality.
Food was served hot and was asked if I needed a drink refill in timely non pushy manner. Would recommend Twisted Oar to friends. Added bonus beautiful view of the lake.

First time going to the twisted oar nice bar spot atmosphere for kids and adults. They have outdoor seating with heaters and curtains to block out the wind. Kind of loud but the afc championship was on and we don't mind the loud noise. All in all we definitely visit again in the future.

No matter the season, the Twisted Oar is the place to be. The staff is always friendly, the food is great and the bar drinks always exceed expectations. Thank you to the cute bartender Ryan for always knowing what I want to drink. & thank you to the Twisted Oar for creating such a fun environment for all. Cheers!

jada was my server she’s amazing !! very attentive & kind. i enjoyed my crab dip and chicken tenders but all of my friends food also looked really good. right on the lake super cute you should check this place out

Very laid back restaurant, the food was good, the pizza is a must here! Had an issue with my food but they took care of it. I loved sitting outside with the lake views. Pet friendly🐶 FYI they’re ducks everywhere😊

Loved the atmosphere and the food was great. Our server, Julia, was exceptional. She was on top of everything. It was an awesome dining experience and we’re looking forward to going back.

Went for Sunday brunch and had a great time. Our waitress, Julia, was very friendly, kept the drinks flowing and got our food out quick. Appreciate the good service and fun atmosphere.

An excellent Little restaurant and bar with easy access and great views of the lake and Marina. The food was very good, especially for a night of drinking and having a good time. The music was excellent and the vibe was lively. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Our bartender Ryan really helped to lighten the mood by making us laugh and recommending new drink combinations that we had never tried before. In conclusion the food and drinks are great, but what really makes me want to return is the staff and the happy lively atmosphere. I highly recommend.

Great place on the lake. Could use a lot more parking for jet skis and have ports.
Most menu items are good. Pizza is great! Usually it's easy to be seated.

My wife and I went to The Twisted Oar on Saturday night. They were packed and there was a decent wait before we got a table. I got myself mai tai in a bucket and made the best of the wait. As it turned out the wait was worth it. Our server Ryan was very friendly and always seemed to show up at the right times without overdoing the table visits. For appetizers we got the Grouper Fingers and a Pretzel. The Grouper Fingers were phenomenal and the Pretzel was good as well. For my meal I ordered the K2 Burger (bacon cheeseburger on a sweet waffle bun) and it was great mix of salty and sweet. Great environment and dogs are welcome. We will be back again soon.
