Paul, Locos, and Anna did an amazing job on repairing our roof, replacing pipe boot covers, blowing out gutters, and helping to clean up leaves. Paul and his team were on time and came promptly both times when I called. He also gave us a reasonable price. Would definitely use his company again!

Paul and Top Dog Roofing did an exquisite job of renovating our home. The roof work was professional, literally more than we expected. His men were courteous, hard working and efficient. Their work was seamless, every bit of it done with top quality materials. Paul supervised every bit of it, from before sunrise until after sunset, walking his crew around by flashlight to be certain they got all of the 'pieces and nails' off of our property. We also contracted with Paul for the complete exterior paint work, which was quite an endeavor considering all of the wood they had to replace. The color matching was superb, and they didn't leave any trace of their efforts on the ground around our house. We also asked him to replace our front deck. The people he brought were the best! Our new deck is more sturdy than our house. They understood what we wanted and delivered it to a "T". And once again he supervised all of their work. I believe we got the best job possible because Paul watched over every inch of it like a mother hen. I had a leak coming from an unused HVAC vent in my roof. I thought I would need a new roof since the roof is a little older, but Mr. Simkoff and his guys did an inspection inside and out and let me know that all I needed was a repair. They removed the vent and repaired the roof immediately. They were very thorough and cleaned all debris away when they left. Mr. Simkoff is very knowledgeable and did a great job explaining everything to us. I would recommend Top Dog Roofing if you want the job done quickly and professionally.

We are so glad we choose Top Dog Roofing. Paul gave us a very fair bid and explained everything they would do and why it provided value and quality to our home. They showed up on time, friendly, and efficient again we could not be happier a 5 star job.

Every time there is a storm, roofers come out of the woodwork to hustle the age old prospect of getting the insurance company to replace your roof. I fell for that early on, figuring "what the heck, maybe I can get a new roof". Most will assure you they can convince the adjuster to approve a roof claim based on x, y, and/or z. But then the adjuster shows up and blows the roofer's assessment out of the water. Then you're stuck with a denied claim on your record making it harder to get an approval in the future.

So, for years I've met most roofers knocking on my door with a "get off my lawn" type attitude. When Paul from Top Dog Roofing knocked on my door, I was about to deliver the same sentiment, but somehow he seemed, unlike so many of the people they send your door, like a mature, professional, trustworthy person with a fully developed brain stem. I'm NEVER going to work with a company who sends a 16 year old kid who says "Um, there was this storm? And it may have hurt your roof? We can like inspect it for free? Um, like would you let us on your roof." No sir. No thanks.

Unlike all others, I actually proceeded to have a conversation. I stated my objection to making another claim with my insurance company. Paul indicated that he uses a 3rd party company to do the roof inspections (Allgood). They are expert in the field and they will only proceed with the claim if they truly believe they can win. Otherwise they spend weeks going back and forth with the insurance company for nothing because they only get paid if they win the claim. What a concept! Other roofers who do their own inspections and deal with insurance adjusters directly are just tossing spitballs on the wall and hoping they stick. They don't seem to care that it hurts the home owner's chances of getting a claim approved if they're *wrong* and very often they ARE!

After discussing it I agreed to have Paul arrange for Allgood to come inspect the roof, free of charge of course. They arrived and did a much more thorough assessment than I've ever seen others do with chalk marks highlighting the damaged areas. They assured me they were 90+ percent sure they could win the claim, and it's not in their interest to proceed if they didn't believe that themselves because, again, they only get paid if they win the claim.

So we proceeded, and indeed they won the claim! Paul's people came and replaced the roof, in and out in a day, Paul was there in person to oversee, they added ridge vents so now not only does my roof look great with high grade architectural shingles, but the entire upstairs is cooler and I swear my power bill is significantly lower as well!

So, from they guy who would normally set the dogs on a roofer coming to interrupt my train of thought, I recommend Paul and Top Dog Roofing. It's a sketchy industry but Paul has my highest recommendation!

Paul came out on a Saturday for inspection (had some interior water damage), found 2 vent lids had blown off who know how long ago. Set up repair date for Monday. Paul and his crew took care of everything, he cares about the details and threw in some other minor fixes he saw while up there. Will definitely use again in the future.
