S&S Ace Hardware

My recent experience at S&S Ace Hardware left me thoroughly impressed. My son and I went in to purchase a new Stihl blower, and Marty Brooks provided exceptional service. I had every intention of buying an entry level unit, but I purchased a higher end model instead. Why? I got the opportunity to demo the rental models behind the shop, to get a feel for the product before purchasing. Marty took the time to explain the pros and cons of each model, ensuring I made an informed decision.

He went the extra mile by gassing up the blower and making sure I was all set to go. The friendly and pleasurable experience at S&S Ace Hardware is a refreshing departure from the typical big-box store vibe. We even got some pre-Thanksgiving barbecue hot off the grill on the way out.

Awesome selection and very helpful staff! Come here if you need help. I got two hard to copy truck keys made here. Couldn’t get them made at Lowe’s or HD but this Ace could do them both. Very helpful!!!

I love this place and come here for every hardware need, from key making to nuts and bolts; paint or wood stain; project materials for my son; ant baits or disc golf Frisbees. The whole staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and I get in and out within five minutes. Why ever go to one of the mega stores?

I have a 23 year old Murray lawn mower. They had the intake gasket I needed.

Lots of friendly knowledgeable staff available to answer my questions. Highly recommended and superior to big box stores.

Welcoming the moment you step in the store. Fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable staff all willing to listen and help. I brought my mower in, looking for repairs after Home Depot shrugged their shoulders and went back to scrolling through their phones. Ace, however were immediately helpful as soon a I walked in. They told me 7-10 days and the end result was 3 days, the price was fair and my mower is working perfectly. Thank you guys!

Love this store. It’s always clean and in order, products are actually kept stocked well, and the folks that work here are really great. I’ve been here a few times and have never experienced anything negative, and have always gotten more help than expected. So yes you should definitely come here.

Super friendly staff was helpful in finding the exact bolt we were looking for and making sure the thread pitch was correct. Even though we walked in fifteen minutes before closing! And if they were trying to help so we would be out of the store, it certainly did not feel like it! LOL

Had my mower repaired here. Loved the experience, and I love their repair policy. Very affordable and reliant. Will be my go-to for all my repair needs. Also wanted to replace some parts on my old mower myself and they had all the part I needed.

I think sometimes we remember the “ big names” but today I was reminded some smaller names have exceptional service. The guy at the paint counter and cashier were so nice and helpful. I wanted to stay and just shop but I was on break. Next time I need paint, household cleaner, or whatever they carry I’m going to the little name first. GREAT job Ace! Your customer service is amazing

All the staff here are really very friendly. If I can't find what I'm looking for and want to buy, the staff will come up to me and ask first. There are a lot of employees working, so customers didn't have to go looking for them, but they came up first and asked if there was anything they needed. I was able to purchase things so comfortably and quickly.

I made the 55 mile trip to the Buford Ace. I bought a Stihl chainsaw. The employee was very friendly and knowledgeable about all of the saws. This store is well stocked and has a super nice staff. Thank you for treating me as a special buyer...I will return...

It is one of the best places around for hardware. The Super freindly staff are always around to help you find what you need. Even the obscure stuff. When I call on the phone, they actually go check the stock, not just assume they don't have it. They have even special ordered things for me.
