I hired lawyer Mario Williams in Atlanta to help me with a safety issue at my apartment. He charged me $3k, that literally resulted in a three page letter to them asking them to deal with safety issues and renew my lease at the rate I was requesting. That is it. He did not quote any laws in the letter and only used the research that I had spent hours gathering (not him). When the apartment responded, he did not know my options and I had to seek other council who helped me and did not even charge me. Regularly he would set deadlines to send me something and never do it. It was so bad that I actually password protected my files to see if he was logging into them. He lied and said his coworker could do it, but that is impossible since it had a password.

I went to Mario to help me deal with a traumatizing situation and left even more traumatized. He seems to push filing a lawsuit, but does not seem capable of doing the prework.

He will constantly say things like, "you are smart", "I like you", and reference going to the media about things. It feels like buzz words are his game.

Do not go to him. You will be overcharged and underserved.
