I purchased a kia soul here and it was such a refreshing change from other car lots that I had visited before coming here. They had the car immaculate and full of gas. They were friendly and helpful. I don't understand the other reviews saying that the cars they purchased some things weren't disclosed because you get a free carfax that tells you all about the car before you buy it. If you are looking for a car I highly recommend reliable cars in springfield!!

Today started out on a downward trend after finding out that my car needed a new engine. After talking to Jon Riehm and explaining our situation, he was able to, not only take my car as a trade-in, but was able to get us into a used car within our budget.

Last month we bought a Hyundai Santa Fe here and the total experience was GREAT! Bryan Price was the salesman who helped us. He was professional and went the extra mile without being pushy. He was honest and transparent and worked with us to get a great price. If you want a great used car salesman look no further. We highly recommend Bryan. Furthermore, the vehicle was totally cleaned and given a mechanical/maintenance check up including an oil change and full tank of gas before we picked it up. We are very satisfied customers.

I was on the hunt for a Nissan JUKE and Ashton was on the case. He helped me every step of the way! Reliable is full of amazingly helpful people. Ashton, Casey and Ethan are all amazing! Every interaction I had with them was more than pleasant. I never felt pressured. They talked to me about any concerns I had and helped me find the right car. I picked up my car today and it more than met my expectations. Ashton even got in the car with me to help me figure out the buttons and dials. The detail shop had it sparling and I am on cloud nine!

I purchased a 2018 Mazda CX-5 Sport SUV in October 2021 from salesman, Ashton Ladbasri. I test-drove several cars before making a final selection and Ashton was very accommodating wanting to make sure I purchased a reliable vehicle that would meet my needs.
The Service Department replaced the passenger door and upon completion wanted to be sure everything met my expectations. During this time I was provided a vehicle on loan to drive until the repair was made which was super helpful! Financing the vehicle went very smoothly with Paul Becker, who secured a very good interest rate and provided a pleasant experience.
I received a follow-up call from the salesman, Ashton Ladbasri, to verify I was satisfied with the service and sale of my vehicle. Overall, everyone was extremely friendly, helpful and professional. I highly recommend Reliable Cars of Springfield and hope you will choose Ashton Ladbasri as your salesman! He's the best!

They had a car for sale. When I got there the car had some issues so they decided they couldn't sell it. The salesman still let me look inside to see if I'd like to find another one like it. He made suggestions about other cars they had but wasn't pushy. He got an idea about what I was looking for and offered to keep an eye out.

Reliable Cars is the stereotypical used car lot. I can't think of a better way to describe it. Be prepared for the usual old used car sales tactics and you'll be ready. My last two purchases were from small local lots where negotiation was more straight forward and a handshake was enough to rely on, so I had almost forgotten about places like this. Perhaps anachronistic, but they had the vehicle we had been seeking and it was only about 1 hour away from home, so we decided to give it a go despite lukewarm reviews.

The vehicle we were interested in was a new trade and had hardly even been cleaned up. I still have the listing pictures that showed the very dirty interior. That was the biggest issue that we had and the salesman assured us that it wouldn't be leaving the lot without a full detail (spoiler: it didn't). Given that cleanup was pretty minor, we decided to proceed with a purchase. The purchase process is the old standard from the 90's and before where they apply all the psychology to try to get you to spend as much as possible. The fees, the back and forth, the good cop/bad cop, etc, etc. All I can say is try to have fun with it, but remember that they don't value your time and actually try to use that in their favor. I wasn't in the mood to spend the entire day at the car lot, but that's pretty much what it resulted in. I succumbed to their process and gave in on some things just to make it stop! In the end, we didn't get a great price, but we did get the used car model that we were looking for. A few days later we did find some concealed damage that wasn't noted. It was clearly covered up, but was fairly minor and really not worth pursuing, especially given that they are not local to us.

I really don't think Reliable Cars is looking for the repeat buyer. Nor are they the cheapest. I'm really not sure what their niche is. Keep in mind that we purchased in spring 2022, during the crazy car shortage and astronomical pricing phase that is sure to be followed by a shocking crash. When purchasing, make sure to look very, very carefully at a vehicle before committing. Make sure to get everything in writing. Above all, make sure to budget lots of time, because this sure isn't one of those "no haggle" places. Best of all, go in with no real ties to a car you are buying, so that you can walk out when you get tired of the process (and wait for the call from your sales guy).

Oh, regarding the detail on the vehicle we purchased, that didn't happen. Honestly, I didn't really expect it would, but was hopeful they would surprise us. Instead, the sales guy did a quick spit shine, all the while telling us that "I'm not a professional detailer, so don't expect professional results". Haha. He tried, but it was not great. Better than nothing. I devoted a couple hours to the work and detailed it myself.

In the end, we walked away with a car. We paid a little more than it was likely really worth. We spent hours of our time in the process. We haven't uncovered any huge flaws just yet. I did have to call to request the title, which was a minor inconvenience. They sent it Fedex overnight. Overall, it wasn't a great experience. I'm unlikely to purchase another vehicle there, but if they had the one that I just needed, I might give up a day and do it.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! thanks to you guys i now have to surrender my vehicle. i am 10k in negative equity when i STRESSED that i did not want to have any more negative. i was told it would be clean and i would not have a worry. TWO WEEKS LATER the turbo goes out, say there is no warranty (forgot the manufacturer warranty huh) but found out from FORD it was just two hoses disconnected. i had to pay over $600 for diagnostics to find that out. i can’t get into a new vehicle or a used vehicle at this point.

I would proceed with caution if you decide to purchase from this dealership - some of their used inventory has been known to have significant damage that is undisclosed at the time of purchase.

They sell parts that doesn't have in stock, no answer phone, no answer email, I don't know what happend with my money.
