Panda Pavilion

The place is not much to look at but their food is great. I have been going there for probably 20 years at this point. Their shrimp is always big and fresh and the food is always served hot. It’s one of my favorite Chinese places in St. Louis.

I have ordered food from Panda Pavilion for many years at this point. The staff is always kind and efficient. The best part is that they use FRESH vegetables for many of their dishes and you can really taste the difference. I also like that their sauces aren't too heavy and have good flavor.

I have also appreciated their diligence during COVID to keep themselves and customers safe.

There are some negative reviews about the food here on Google - a few times we have ordered and the food wasn't at quite the usual level. But especially right now, with so much going on and staffing issues for many, we keep ordering and sure enough the next visit is always back to delicious, quick, and comforting food. So if you've only ordered once, I definitely recommend trying again.

I’ve been going to Panda Pavilion since I was a lil girl- so prob over 20 years at this point! BEST fried pork wontons (plus sweet and sour sauce packets for dipping) 👌I know it looks like a trap house from the outside but I promise it ain’t 🤣 my go to is the hot and spicy pork- it has super yummy sauce and veggies. Fried rice is also the bomb (all of em, especially house)! Give them a shot and I’m sure you’ll be happy ya did! ❤ if you choose Panda Express over them then ya ain’t really from STL and clearly can’t appreciate the 🥡🥠😋🥢! 🤣

Excellent Chinese food, always super fast. Everything I've ordered has been top-notch and fresh tasting. They always toss in an extra fortune cookie beyond what we ask for.

They're very nice here, have a safe walk-up setup to get your food, and I can't recommend the shrimp rolls enough - nice and crunchy! Also a big fan of the black pepper chicken and the Singapore Mei Fun.

The food is amazing. Best Chinese food so far we have had in the Midwest. We've only ever called in for take out, but we always get hot food and our order is always correct. Would highly recommend.

Overall, id say the fried rice and chicken syrup dishes (the staple of all Chinese food places, because lets be honest that's what it is, tasteless chicken covered in 500 varieties of syrup) is a bit bland and I've had better. But the hot and sour soup is amazing!!! It's truly a unique flavor that just can't be duplicated by other Chinese restaurants and is a meal all in its self! The crab rangoon is apparently"diet" cream cheese, (though I've never noticed, but hey if people want to poke holes go ahead) is better than other places I've been too in the past, a soft crunchy exterior and packed with cream cheese plus you receive a hefty amount for just the right price. So if you like crab rangoon and would like to try a highly unique flavored hot and sour soup try this place, even just once! If you're into fried rice and generic syrup chicken dishes this might not be the place for you...I'm sure panda express can cater to your needs...

Good local Chinese food. The potstickers are great. They make food very fast and always have locals in either just enjoying the environment or having a meal! Also located in the neighborhood so easy to walk too!

I would eat here every day if it was socially acceptable. Luckily, I'm an outcast, and the General Tso chicken is phenomenal.

Hot tip: General Tso Dinner Combo (with the white rice), mix together, add soy sauce (yeah come at me bro), and add cayenne pepper. This is my jam.

I love this place the food is great!! Excellent lunch specials and NO MSG for those who are on healthy diets they have a special menu. My family and I eat here several times a month. Great food nice people! Ohhh they deliver!!

Should have come here sooner. Fast carry out service. Reasonable prices. Hot food, it's exactly what you want when you have a craving for Chinese food. I will be returning. Probably too often...

This place is actually so good. The appearance of the restaurant was a turn off and I didn't try this place for a long time, but it has become my girlfriend and I's new chinese spot. And we really loved the old place (New China off kingshighway). The other place is still really good, but pavillion is even better. Give this place a chance. Everyone who gave it 1 or 2 stars doesn't know what they're talking about

I have been going here for 20 years every other month or so. The quality is always good and consistent. Excellent neighborhood chinese food option!

Great Food. Nicely hidden gem of a restaurant. Egg rolls to die for. Egg drop wonton soup is the best. With delivery, food is always very hot. I highly recommend people try this Chinese Restaurant.

All of the items I have tasted here have been delicious. Fast service as well. I always pick up my order, but they do have seating and delivery.

This place is awesome. No other Chinese place in town does it better. I'm a sucker for the garlic sauce, great for dipping all of the fried delights.

Always tasty. I trust this food so much that I love exploring the menu. Try the Singapore noodles or the curry chicken!
