I can’t imagine what your going through or why you need a lawyer but I can say from experience Mr.Watkins will do everything he can in his power to help you.
I entered my case onto legal case net, after something told me I would NOT win my case. Mr.Watkins replied back the very next day stating to come in right away to discuss the case. FREE
I showed up an hour later and received 30mins of his time. He had convinced me I wanted him in my corner. And let me tell you he might seem intimidating, he did to me, but that’s what you want. Someone passionate about their job.
Unfortunately my court hearing was the NEXT morning! Where my public defender was unable to get an extension granted , but Mr.Watkins did. 2 weeks later, after great insight from Mr.Watkins we had a great day at court. The following day I received news I was getting my son back. We had won. I was honest, I didn’t quit and I had my guardian Angel beside me. Was happy to have someone like Mr.Watkins fight this battle with me.

Wow, all I can say is that the other reviewer here hit my opinion right on the head! I wish I would have read this before going to him. Mr. Watkins is frankly a complete jerk. He is rude, obnoxious, and arrogant. I went to him because he is close to my office and I thought it was a simple case (a name change), but boy do I wish I would have gone somewhere else.

He called a meeting with me just before we went to court, and when I got to his office he said to me "well I guess you needed to see me because you don't know how to act in court". Umm...WTF. YOU called this meeting, not me! He refused to acknowledge this and then went on to tell me that I should dress 'appropriately' for a female, not like I am going to a club. I am a general manager of a hotel and every time I saw this man I was in a business suit - why on Earth would he suggest that I would dress any other way for court??

When we got to court, it turned out that he did not have the proper documentation, so after spending an entire day away from the office we had to leave court empty handed and reschedule for a month later. And he had the nerve to charge me $300 for returning to court for a mistake that HE made!!

I won't go in to everything else, but I can direct you to the other review here because it is exactly correct. Mr. Watkins has absolutely zero social skills and it is appalling that he runs his business this way.

The one good thing that I can say is that the girl that works in his office, Jessica, is a complete doll and was very helpful and empathetic through the entire process. She deserves much better treatment than what she gets working for this jerk.

I met with Michael Watkins today. It was terrible. I'm trying to get divorced. I'm staying in a domestic violence shelter. He was not sensitive to my needs at all. It seemed he was taking my husband's side. He told me he felt I was being vindictive, I was not at all. I told him I wanted 2 of my 4 cats and he said it was silly to fight over cats. He asked me what I wanted in the divorce and when I tried to tell him he was not compassionate at all. I didn't have answers to some of his questions and this seemed to really piss him off. He told me over the phone that he would work with me for paying for his service but when I got there that all changed and he had no problem telling me his fees, my dad said he might be able to help me out with paying, Mr Watkins only was interested in making money!! It was still too much! Stay far away from him.., Michael Watkins has no compassion. My husband was literally physically, mentally and verbally abusing me and Michael Watkins told me verbally and mentally abuse doesn't count, how come it doesn't?? My husband made my life a living hell, I was crying in his office from the emotional pain I'm going through, again NO compassion! And I also didn't appreciate being lied to over the phone about him telling me he would give me a deal because of my situation, I'm on disability. It seemed that's all he made clear to me was money while I was there. Zero stars Mr. Watkins.
I had so much hope going into his office. What a waste of my time. I am so hurt and angry by the way he treated me!! Unbelievable!
