Dr. Jose Cusco, MD Primary Care Physician

Dr. Cusco is not at this office.

He was my fathers doctor for years in Laplace. Labeled my father as one of the healthiest men he’s ever seen (for his age). When my father complained of back pain, he dismissed him, telling him to check back in 3 weeks. After 2 weeks of continual pain, my mother reached out on my father’s behalf receiving no response. We later found that the office had closed permanently.
My father, in turn went to my mother’s doctor; he was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer. It was later discovered that Dr Cusco had never even ran labs on my father over the years.
I recently discovered the TV show “Dr Death” this guy should be reviewed to be on the next season.

I wish I could give minus 5 stars. Negligent man who shouldn't be practicing medicine. He will not provide the care you need. After my dad received a life threatening diagnosis, we were informed that this "doctor" had never tested him for something his family's history dictated that he needed. If you want a long, life, avoid him at all cost.
