Hampton Inn by Hilton Leesville Fort Johnson

Excellent experience! Highly recommend! The rooms were clean and modern. Front desk staff was friendly. The breakfast was wonderful.
Glad to have non pork options. The sausages were turkey. We loved the red potatoes! I don't eat pork so when Calli offered to make me a cheese omelette instead, I was thrilled. Talk about wonderful customer service! Thank you!! I will suggest that there be other milk options such as oat milk or soy for those with dairy or nut allergies. We had a great stay. If in the area, this is the place to stay!

The two words that describe this hotel, are professional and accommodating. The night clerk was professional, kind and went out of his way to help meet a special request. The breakfast was not the best I've ever had but I was a little late and the lady did all she could do to make sure I was well fed. It is a bit difficult to get in and out of right now because the highway is being worked on, but obviously, they have no control over that.

The rooms were very nice and comfortable. I needed towels, called to front desk and they were brought to me within 5 minutes. The whole staff was very great and super funny I can’t remember all their names though but they remembered mine which was super nice and added that special touch to my stay. If I’m ever back in the area I’ll definitely stay here.

Not sure what I had expected but this hotel was great! All staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The room was pleasantly nice and clean. It had plenty of room to work at the desk and store things above the fridge area. The bathroom was also clean and had high ceilings even on the upper floors. I like that you don’t feel so closed in with higher ceilings. Overall very good experience and I would definitely stay there again.

Great place near Ft Polk. Stayed there 2 times on separate months for several nights each time. Great people.
A softball tournament took over the city and hotel was packed. Despite many kids and drunk parents, the staff did great!

Very clean and nicely decorated place. Very good breakfast. Breakfast cook and server on Sun 4/7/19 is extremely personable and attentive to what people are wanting to eat. Good variety. Sharing a room with Sister and her husband. Very comfortable beds. Everything in room is clean and organized. Like having microwave in room. Will recommend others to stay at Hampton Inn.

Very nice in keeping with the Hampton Inn standard. Front desk crew was exceptional. Jennifer worked tirelessly to ensure all the T's were crossed and I's were dotted. Elizabeth's animated and explicit directions to restaurants were spot on, even though the weather had this one I especially wanted to visited for Cajun cuisine closed. She also puts a lot of love in her chicken and dumplings, and I was blessed to experience probably the best chicken and dumplings I can remember. Really warmed the tummy when the world had turned to ice.

I always stay at Hampton, so I may be a little bias...but this is one of the better ones. The rooms have been updated, and the room I received was really clean! The breakfast was really good with a lot to pick from. The area is kept clean during the breakfast hours. I will recommend this hotel to family who come in.

I had a great experience with the stay at Hampton Inn Leesville. Was there for about two weeks and had no issues. Clean rooms, quite for resting after work. The front desk personnel was very friendly and helpful. Jennifer, went out of her way to make our stay pleasant and comfortable.

Great hotel. Absolutely no issues when staying in thos establishment. I've stayed over approximately 5 times and every time I'm treated excellent. The staff is happy and welcoming and very hospitable.

We stayed three nights. The front desk people were so friendly and greeted is every time we walk to in or out. Housekeeping as well checking to see if we needed anything. Breakfast excellent and facility was so clean. Room nice and roomy.

Probably among the best places to stay in Leesville, this Hampton Inn is staffed by an amazing team that is very professional. Excellent customer service goes a long way for me. The rooms are clean and the hotel is located far enough off of the main road that traffic noise isn't a concern.

The Hampton Inn in Leesville, Louisiana I the place to stay!!! Clean, comfortable and safe when you visit the area. Be it for business or to visit a family member stations at Fort Polk this it the place to stay. Just minutes from the base and downtown Leesville. And they also offer military and government discounts. I would strongly recommend my family and friends to stay at this Hampton Inn!

I don't usually do this but this five star star rating is specifically for an employee of the Hampton Inn and not my rating of the hotel itself. I'm only making that statement because my checkout was not exactly the best experience but I'll get to that at a later date. BUT Cameron P. was the overnight employee on duty when I arrived at the Leesville location. I was dog tired, completely worn out and covered in mud from helping someone get their vehicle out of the woods. It was around 3 or 4am when I got there and he informed me that he couldnt check me in until 6:30am due to policy. Now, most people may have just left and went to another establishment. Some would have gotten mad and threw a fit or demanded a supervisor. I simply laid my situation out to him and he was sympathetic. But again he mentioned 6:30. He was so polite about it but I needed a room and we talked about it again. So he came up with a solution that would satisfy the situation. He got me a room at that moment. He couldnt have been more generous and I couldnt have been more grateful. With the Rona going around and at 4am, I asked him about where I could get some food at this hour. He gave me a couple of options and I went upstairs to shower. I came back downstairs for something when he approached with two bags in his hand. He handed me the bags and basically said that it's not much but hope it helps. I got upstairs and he essentially made me a mini breakfast with nutrition bars, apples, pastries and waters. I was absolutely and overwhelmingly appreciative of this. He recognized the night I was having and his customer service and genuine kindness went far above any other hotel employee I've ever met. I've stayed in over 100 hotels and hands down, Cameron was the kindest, most caring, most accommodating and most helpful employee I've ever encountered or have done business with. Hands down no bulllshit. True story. It was so refreshing to meet a complete stranger with that kind of ethic and compassion. Because of this man, there is now only one hotel in Leesville. It's called the Hampton Inn. I have stayed at every establishment in Leeesville and I'm telling you, with Cameron at the helm, there is no other place to stay in Leesville other than the Hampton Inn. This man is an example of exactly the type of customer service that everyone in that industry should strive to be like.

To The Owners/Management:
Whatever you're paying this man per hour, I assure you that you are severely underpaying him. That's how great this man is. If he was my employee, I'd have him on track and training to run my establishment. Theres no doubt about that. It's rare a company gets a chance to hire someone that has the kindness, compassion and attention to detail yet still maintains his ability to make a decision from a business standpoint that both parties will benefit from. And then still takes another step forward ensuring that he did everything at his disposal to help me. Cameron P. is a man of integrity. Hold on to him. Dont let him get away. He is an asset and you could make this young man your future.

I can't say enough about this hotel in Leesville, La. As the parent of a traveling basketball team, I understand how chaotic and overwhelming it can seem for the staff. They never made us feel as a nuisance. A big thanks to the staff, local businesses, and surrounding area schools. We enjoyed your beautiful town!

Very clean rooms. The staff was very personable and professional. I received a courtesy call a couple of days before my stay to confirm if I needed anything at check-in. I was very pleased with my stay.

They helped us out with room issues and made breakfast hours earlier for our group of people. More than acceptable wifi speeds with great latency. Exceptional customer service

The bed was comfortable, the room and bathroom were clean, and the staff was nice. Breakfast was good...standard continental. Easy check-in and checkout. I will stay there next time I am in Leesville.
