La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Leesville Ft. Polk

Went to visit our son during his stay for the Army at the near by post, this property was clean, safe and the staff was kind and helpful! The lobby was decorated with festival items that made it feel so comfortable. It’s located right near post main gate, near Walmart and many other stores and food places will definitely recommend!

My family and small dog stayed here while we were clearing base, getting ready to PCS. Its right outside the South gate of Fort Polk. The staff was friendly and the free hot breakfast was very nice to wake up to. Plenty of food locations within walking distance and pizza delivers right to your door. The AC in the rooms is phenomenal! I prefer windows open during the day but no screens on the bottom floor. The rooms are decorated nicely and the beds are clean and comfortable. The room was very clean aside from the carpeted floors. (Hopefully, hotels will start to understand hard floors are always better!) The exterior of the hotel is pet friendly with plenty of off cement ground for them to exercise. One staff member, who I noticed was a perfectionist, seems to get it! Its the small things that make big differences! So I wanted to give her effort acknowledgment and let her know it was appreciated. Thank you, La Quinta, for being family and pet friendly.

Let me start off with the smell ! It smells so good it brings back the memories of when we would struggle at my great grandma father in laws (bubba) where he would tell us to go to our room and him and my father in law would smoke meth and drink moonshine . It also has the beautiful smell of my moms swamp house ! Great memories . The building is so nice , it replicates the twin towers after 9/11! Over all beautiful place ! Also no breakfast but the ice mean that doesn’t work makes up for it . :)

***THIS REVIEW IS FOR STUDIO6 AS WELL***The staff there were very welcoming, i felt right at home as soon as i walked through the door. I was blown away at the communication skills by the staff! COMMUNICATION IS KEY! They are on their A-Game with team work!! I was very impressed. The hotel itself is under construction currently but that has not stopped or slowed them down one bit!! Great job guys!! 👍👍👍

Every request met with a smile and completely helpful. Pets happy as if we're home.

Everyone has been incredibly polite and helpful. Our stay has been quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was great and everything has been incredibly comfortable for my wife and two kids. I will definitely be coming back again when I'm in the area.

I went back and gave it another try. It was much better this time around. The manager, Eric, was very nice and the whole place was cleaner. There were no issues with the room, it was clean and everything worked

Staff was great. They were fixing the kitchen, so we could not enjoy the usual breakfast. But they always take good care.

This La Quinta is newly built and I usually stay on Ft Polk (at the IHG) but they were fully booked. THIS is a MUCH better value (YES...they have a govt. rate here!) and it's RIGHT outside the gate. I actually had to ask if I had a handicap access room because the standard King size is THAT nice. If you have to go to Ft Polk THIS is were you want to stay off post.

Very nice accommodations adjacent to Fort Polk, LA. Army Base. Room was very comfortable, clean, and spacious. Customer Service was great! Highly recommend!

The employees are very nice and attentive. Rooms are nice, super comfortable beds. Only downside, there's only an ice machine on the first floor. Plenty of places to grab a bite nearby too

Its going thru a remodel right now which is great t cuz our first room smelled like mold and mildew and the water didn't work but the front desk clerk was great and fast about fixing the problem and putting us in a new room great place to stay right outside of Fort Polk so we can visit our soldier

The staff is VERY friendly and bends over backwards to accommodate!!
We even surprised our LT coming back from a deployment with us bringing his dog!!

This LaQuinta has restored my love for the brand. The staff is welcoming and polite. The hotel itselt is well maintained, clean rooms and a good full breakfast each morning.

The cons were and only con would be the bathrooms were clean but noticed the tubs were slightly outdated.

I only stopped by because family was staying there, but it's clearly the best hotel in Leesville. Clean and looks good. Great location relative to Fort Polk.

Good rooms, good breakfast, but really great customer service. Shannon the manager was awesome to work with and fixed problems that I had even over a week after I stayed there.

This hotel is amazing the smell of mold reminds me of when my mom would beat me. The rust reminds me of the day I got stabbed
