Vernon Parish Recycle Center

As, a Vermont Liberal who moved here, recently. Recycling/composting is ingrained in my soul... I’m also a early education teacher and promote this lifestyle in education... it’s teaches them responsibility and how to care for the, (i.e. oceans, earth). We’re one with Mother Nature.

Also the hours are great for people with busy schedules during the week! Keep rockin’ on!

Easy, no muss, no fuss drop off. Hours on the weekend are convenient for folks that work during the week. My only criticism is that they don't take glass, but that seems to be a trend in this area.

Arrived at 11:35am on a Saturday. It's supposed to close at 12pm on Saturdays, but they were already closed. Frustrating.

The guy there was super rude I went there thinking I was gonna get a little cash for recycleing my cans I stood there waiting while he dumped my cans out and everything else then just stood there staring at me and I was like well don't I get paid for the cans? And he was like oh no we don't give cash for cans he was like "if I had known you wanted cash I wouldn't have dumped them out" I was livid!! I just wasted the gas to go there thinking I'd get cash but nope I really needed that cash to get gas and now I have nothing..thanks alot to the guy that works there. I will never be back.

I end up throwing my recycling materials in trash! Always closed even when their web site saying open!
