Beautiful park right in the heart of downtown St Louis. Well maintained lawns and beautiful horticulture in the summers help brighten the court and business districts of downtown. This park, along with it's neighbor Kaufman park, make a great addition to the STL landscape.

Poelker Park is one of a series of six city parks in the Downtown of St Louis City. It’s age is back on 1986 and is named in honor of John Poelker, Mayor of St. Louis from 1974-1977.
When you walk into this little beautiful park, you will find a monument to the firefighters of St. Louis: a bronze statue of a fireman carrying a little girl atop a granite base which "Dedicated to St. Louis firefighters past, present and future."
