Station 114

I can't say more positive things about Station 114 and the artist who did my hair, Ellie. I'm a very dark brunette with very little color variation, and I was so nervous about getting my hair done because I just wanted very subtle highlights and definition (not wanting to come out too blonde). The experience was wonderful, and Ellie blew me away! I didn't know exactly what I was asking for and I just trusted her in the process, and she captured what I was looking for perfectly. I absolutely LOVE my hair, and I'm so excited to go even lighter in the spring!

Sumner is a rock star of color! My hair has never looked better. She’s made me feel years younger. Prompt, professional, and charming. Great prices, too!

I'm a regular customer of Ellie's. I've never had a better experience in the chair. She indulges all of my whims of shapes and styles: I show her pictures and she nails it, or I tell her I'm ambivalent or to give me "something cool" and I invariably leave happy. She is a gem. She has done my hair for years now and is so talented at natural looking highlights // color and long layers … she saved me from a run in with “wash out” purple Dye and also my DIY covid cut. Every female knows how hard it is to find a new hair salon after moving to a new city. Not only is her work absolutely AMAZING, she makes me more beautiful every time I see her, and for an AFFORDABLE price. She’s done two balayage’s and a huge cut for me. One of the best haircuts until Atl or DC, especially if you go with Emily Schwab - and for the same price you’d pay at any other salon in town. Can’t say enough good stuff about this spot! They’ll do whatever, just tell them what you want & they’ll work with you to make you happy (even if what you’re asking for is crazy pants)

She worked MIRACLES on my hair after a bad hair cut/dye gone wrong at a different salon. I literally cried tears of joy when I got to my car because I finally feel comfortable in my own skin again because of how beautiful I feel in my new hair.

I went to Station 114 for the first time hoping they could do a color correction (from a very bad job someone else did a couple of months before) and a pretty drastic cut as well. Ellie, who has only been there for a few weeks but has several years of experience, took so much time to talk to me about my different options. She even brought Emily, the owner over to consult with me and they both spent a lot of time going over everything with me and not doing anything until I was 100% comfortable with the process. Ellie took her time and was so friendly and fun to talk to and get to know! Emily checked in several times throughout the color and cut to make sure I was satisfied. I loved the end result and have gotten so many compliments, not only on the length and color but how healthy and shiny my hair looks! I was also very pleased with the price. They also have a nail salon in the shop, and I plan to make an appointment for a mani/pedi soon. The technician seemed to be very knowledgeable and friendly, and really took her time with the clients.

The entire staff was so sweet! The location is great. It's downtown and close to a lot of really cute shops and good places to eat. I highly recommend Station 114!

Love, love, love Station 114! We have seen everyone here and have never been anything short of thrilled. Station114 is much more reasonably price than what we were paying in the city... and we all get far better haircuts here. The studio is always very well kept and every time we visit Station114 we are greated like a good friend you haven't seen for a while, which makes us feel so welcome. This visit we saw Ellie. She was absolutely fantastic! And no surprise as the owner only hires the best! I brought in my 3 boys and we all got superb haircuts. My oldest, who just started high school, wanted a big change and Ellie absolutely nail it. He got a perfectly executed, cute, trendy new look. He was extremely happy, as were we, and it has given him a such a great deal of confidence with his new look. It brings such joy to a parents heart seeing their teenager so lifted.
