Cape Carteret Family Medicine

We started coming here a few years ago after a friend recommended it to us. My wife and I are 100% satisfied with the care we receive every time we visit. It's a small town doctor kind of place with a very friendly, personal atmosphere. The staff is great, and Joanne Liles is spot on with her diagnosis every time. She is very experienced, but still takes the time to listen to you and she looks at you while you're talking. It's a small operation, they don't have in house lab or x-ray, but they can send you 1 minute down the road to get that stuff if you need it. We have recently moved, and we now live 40 minutes from Cape Carteret, but we still come here because it's that good. We have had a lot of bad experiences with health care in this area, but CCFM is a jewel in the sand.

I’ve been going to Joanne for well over 15 years. All I can say is her and her staff are like part of my family. I’ve have moved away from the area and if you did have a bad experience remember this, there are many factors that can throw off a Doctors schedule, people showing up late or not showing up at all Joanne has always if needed spent more time with me if something was a concern. Love them all and miss them.

JoAnne, Reagan and Emily have taken care of me and husband for years. They are engaged in our needs (always) and treatment (or referrals) has always been perfect. I highly recommend this office.

Absolutely wonderful place! Moved here from out of town and so glad I ended up with an awesome PCP on the first try! Dr Liles and her staff are amazing! Truly grateful for all the care she has provided!

Fantastic people and service. I have been going to them for years. They get back with me quickly with bloodwork results and take the time to answer my questions

Dr Galager is always so polite and great when it comes to diagnosing the problem.

Not too happy about how they handle things sent us on a wild goose chase to get a lab done .....no name no number just a blank referral to a place that appointments cannot be made over the phone. The nurse pretended to be the doctor was very rude and then at the end asked if we would like to speak to th doctor who we had an appointment with. In the back room exam room! Terrible place very awful service. Mean nurse. Left there in tears. The worst place you could possibly go around here. Wouldnt give a single star if that was an option
