I was looking for a night stand for my daughters room. I’ve driven by this store numerous times and decided to stop and see what they had. IT WAS WORTH THE VISIT. I was greeted shortly after walking in and the gentleman was a huge help. Friendly, kind staff and he gave me a discount on the price. Highly recommended.

The most awesome service, plenty of quality American furniture in stock. Delivery was quick. I would recommend everyone who needs furniture to go there.

We visited Down East Furniture today. Van Rose assisted my dad a few days ago in the store. We took mom today to try out a lift chair. My mom is handicap & help me lug the walker, stool & other items back to the van once we made our purchase. He was so helpful, polite and sweet! He ensured my mom was happy & comfortable in her new chair. He also made sure it was delivered to my parents home today!!

Wow after looking all over New Bern, Jacksonville and Havelock and Kinston I was about to give up on new living room furniture but they made it so easy and Steve was extremely helpful and listened to what we really needed! The price was great, delivery ON TIME and undamaged (we actually got one not half as nice at twice the price in Jax and NOW I am happy it was so damaged we refused it). It looks fantastic and the love it .....thanks guys! we WILL be back!

We have been searching for months for the perfect dining room table. We’ve literally been to about a dozen different stores and found nothing of good quality for the right price. But we found the absolute perfect set at Down East. When we got home and started putting it together, we encountered a couple of issues. When I called them they asked for pictures of our problems and within the hour I got a call back saying we could exchange the problem chair with one on the showroom floor. The other issue with all four chairs they worked on them and fixed two of the chairs and let us exchange the ones they couldn’t fix off the showroom. Honestly just fantastic customer service. This is the kind of place you want to buy furniture from because they are good people. Thank you guys, shout out to Steve and Nick especially.

I was shopping for a new recliner due to several back surgeries.
The very first recliner I sat in was a "Catnapper". Great name for the most comfortable recliner I've ever sat in.
Great price and it was delivered within 2 hrs of purchase!

Awesome tent sale prices. If you see their tent sale going, definitely take a peek. We found a gorgeous stand mirror with a weird smear on the glass for 10 bucks. Scraped the mirrow with a razorblade and it looked brand new again.

I shopped for a matress. The store has good variety. The sales team was helpful and they had stock and delivery available.

We bought a couch and love seat! It is awesome, very nice leather. All made in the USA, big plus!
