Dirty Fries Express - Winton Salem

Went for the first time tonight and everything was perfect! Ordered through the swipeby app the menu was easy to read. The delivery was straight to the car and excellent service. We ordered 2 different plates to try some different things and everything tasted great. Seafood and steak serving size seemed perfect to us for the price!

Today was my first time going here and lemme tell you it was worth the wait. I built my own and it was amazing. Seasoned very well and Even Hot Still and fresh after I got home. They just opened and the lines are gonna be long and the wait times are gonna be long but trust me, have patience cause it's worth the wait. Y'all Deserve to open up a second location now.... Keep up the great work.

Me & my husband decided to give this place a shot & it was FABULOUS! I loved everything, if you're wanting something different, give them a try. I ordered the down under fries, seafood is my favorite and this hit every craving. The only thing I would change, is ask for a light amount of the house sauce. It's sweet & compliments the shrimp & crab meat perfectly. There was just too much on the plate for me. Over all I give it a 10/10 & I will definitely be back....probably tomorrow 😅

Our first experience was great! Even though the restaurant was obviously very busy, the service was surprisingly quick. For a soft open, definitely five stars - our food was delicious! I have also noticed that Dirty Fries is doing their best to keep updated info on Instagram as they settle into the groove.
Swipeby and handicapped parking spaces are convenient to the sidewalk leading to the door. Small waiting area inside and covered sidewalk space outside to wait for your order. There's also a drink cooler with a variety of canned and bottled beverages.

INTRO: Dirty Fries is THE PLACE for satisfying every possible French fry craving known to mankind. This hidden gem is located on the outskirts of downtown Winston-Salem, which is known to be a rough area of town, so don't drive your Lamborghini or Ferrari when you decide to stop by. Although there is a set menu available for customers that lists the house specials, customers are able to customize every aspect of their fries. You can customize the type of fries (straight, curly), protein (chicken, steak, etc.), sauce (mango habanero, honey garlic, etc.), and cheese (queso, mozzarella, cheddar, monty jack, etc.). Do you understand what this means? You are able to personalize every single component of your Heavenly experience.

ENTREE 1: Custom fries (straight, steak, mango habanero and honey garlic, monty jack) ($9.50) - I'm extremely happy that I chose this specific combination for my first order of fries because it was affordable, filling, and most importantly, tasty. The fries are exceptionally crispy but soft on the inside. The meat was tender and not overcooked. The sauces were fantastic. Honestly, the sauces were the sole game-changer factor that brought the fries to the next level. If it weren't for the sauces, then the fries would have been indistinguishable from a regular order of nacho fries at some mediocre restaurant. They also give you a TON of fries!

VENUE: There is NO seating indoors. It's basically your Cookout for French fries. However, there are 3 chairs outside of the front door, so you can sit while you wait for your fries to finish cooking. They also give you a buzzer to let you know when your fries are ready to be picked up. Also, be prepared to be approached by at least 5 random people who are asking if you can give them some money.

PARKING: The parking lot is small and can fit about 6 cars, so try to avoid visiting this restaurant during rush hour. Street parking also isn't readily available.

WORTH IT? YES, these fries are fantastic! But don't go overboard with your ordering, or else you'll be spending $20 on some potatoes. (Overall 8/10)

We visited yesterday! The staff was very friendly and the food was great! We highly recommend the Soul Rolls!

I was very impressed with this place. The girl at the counter was very pleasant and the environment seemed friendly. The food was great. The portion was huge and I was able to eat on my plate for two days.

OMG! If you haven't eaten here yet, definitely put it on your bucket list!!! Fast, delicious food and great customer service! I will definitely be back! ♥♥

Got the down under fries. Outstanding flavor and great customer service. Was disappointed they dont have the egg rolls anymore but otherwise a great place with great fries.

Amazing quality! Fries remain crispy, we got the Philly cheese steak and Miss piggy. Absolutely delicious. Great service.

I had the downunder fries and soul roll, both were amazing. Fries had a lot of crab meat and shrimp. Would highly recommend you try them.

This place is quite the gem! My family and I have driven past several times but finally had the time to stop by and eat. I sure am glad that we got the chance to eat here! If you like french fries or chicken wings, then I highly recommend you stop in!

Quita took our order and cooked the food. Let me tell you, she knows what she is doing! She greeted us with a great big smile and was very friendly with every request and question!

Great place to go food is amazing perfect location for take out. Food is a reasonable price. At first I seen a small tray handed to me but this think was packed with delicious goodness. I recommend this place for first dates. The one thing about this place that's different is I don't think it has a dining area, but don't let that stop you from missing out on this amazing place that is kept secret.

The food is amazing!! The service is amazing!!! The shakes are to die for!!!! If you are on Liberty Street looking for a lunch or dinner that will definitely satisfy your tastebuds then stop at Dirty Fries!! My husband had the Miss Piggy which was soooo delicious and I had the Philly which took me back to Philly!! I also got the Fruity Pebbles shake! OMG it was like drinking a bowl of cereal!!! Demetria was so helpful for us first timers that she made it a great experience for us!! Thank you to the staff of Dirty Fries for such a great meal!!! We will be back!!!!

Our favorite place to get food in between classes! They’re always so sweet here and i’m so impressed with the food definitely one of the best spots in winston salem literally will recommend this place to anyone and everyone can’t wait for more locations to open need this place 24 hours AND ALSO vegan options!!!!!
