This body shop is 100% recommended. They fixed my car sooner than every other shops projected. They not only worked with my insurance estimates, they selflessly did what was best for my car.

I am so grateful for the folks at Hatley’s! They were so wonderful with my car, they worked well with my insurance company and got the work done in great time. They explained everything well and went above and beyond. I’ve seen a few reviews that say they weren’t pleased with the customer service, and as a young woman without much experience going to body shops I felt totally respected and treated very well. I definitely recommend giving this local shop your money!!!

No nonsense kind of place. I was calling around other body shops and most of them quoted me 6-8 weeks to even get my car on the schedule, so I kept looking and landed on this place. Could take me in 2 weeks after I inquired, and worked on the insurance estimate to a tee. The guys here were very friendly and my car was in and out in 3 days. It looks great! I cannot recommend them enough.

Came to get an estimate on some minor underbody damage. They told me that I *could* get it fixed but it actually was more cosmetic and not necessary to keep the car running. Then they replaced a few pins that had come loose and made sure everything was good to go. I asked them how much I owed and they said nothing. :) Wonderful to find a place where they keep it honest and professional. If I do ever need body work done I will definitely be coming here!

I don't usually write reviews, but I was really impressed with Hatley's. I had some front-end damage on my SUV. I looked for recommendations on Google and Nextdoor – Hatley’s came up several times, so I dropped by to get an estimate. They provided me with a couple of options, both of which were reasonably priced compared to other local body shops. They never pressured me and, in fact, recommended I go with the less expensive option if I chose to move forward. I’m very pleased with their work. My car looks brand new again. I will most definitely return to Hatley’s if I ever need car repairs in the future. Very honest people. Thank you, Michael and Steve!

I got in an accident a few weeks ago and Hatley’s had my car repaired in a week! They were able to fit my car in in no time, were very upfront about costs, worked quickly, and were even able to save me $300 from the original quote. Such a pleasure to work with and didn’t make me feel dumb for not knowing anything about cars. Would highly recommend for any car repair needs!!

I would rate them 10 stars if I could. Not only was the work to fix our bumper superior, the customer service was excellent. I also know we would have had to pay triple if we went anywhere else. Thank you for being a fantastic body shop.

This is an outstanding body shop. I had them look at at damage to my car, they sent me a very reasonable estimate within two hours, and scheduled me for the following week. They then finished the work in less than 24 hours and it looks great. I can't recommend them enough!

My husband and I visited Hatleys this morning due to a dent in our camry bumper, He was super nice and honest. He even helped us wiped clean the dark marks around the problem area and even give us advice on what we should do to save money! Our front door been making this weird noise for over a year and he literally fixed that problem for us in 2 secs😳. You can definitely tell he knows and are a pro at what hes doing! Thanks to him, our main concern with our car is fixed and we didnt even spent a dime. Tried to tip him at least but he didnt even accept it and was soooo nice about! Even though we didnt get a chance to actually do business with him this time, We will definitely only come to him from now on if we have any issues with our car! I will definitely recommend everyone i know to him also! Thank you so much! ☺☺☺

The front bumper spoiler on my wife's Prius had bent downward and was scraping against the pavement while driving. I drove up to Hatley's and Michael immediately dropped what he was doing to talk to me. He immediately jumped on the ground to examine the problem, then explained the solution and removed the spoiler. It took less than ten minutes. He was very proactive and engaged with the vehicle. He even wiped some scuff marks off the fender! I tried to tip him and he just gave me a fist bump instead.

In the future I will definitely be taking my vehicle to Hatley's. You should, too!

I visited Hatley's earlier this afternoon and I wish I could give more than 5 stars. For as long as I am in the triangle area, I will be a Hatley's customer -- let me tell you why.

About two weeks ago I blasted my passenger side mirror off while backing out of a parking deck spot. The passenger side door was dented and there was some paint transfer from the concrete piling I hit, but the door works fine. I have an old car, I'm a grad student without an income, and I don't have comprehensive insurance coverage so I wanted to do the repair as cheaply as possible. I even bought a replacement mirror myself from a scrap yard to keep the cost low. Initially I contacted a chain body shop who gave me a >2k estimate for the full repair, and I made 2 trips out there over the course of a week before being told it would be another week before the mirror could be painted and installed. I ended up just asking for my mirror back and decided to check out Hatley's.

In under 15 minutes they installed my mirror, gently buffed off the paint transfer, and quoted me for HALF of what the chain place had if I wanted to fully repair the door. If I'd wanted the power adjustment capabilities for the mirror that would have required taking the door apart, but he offered to install it without that just to get the car legal to drive. He clearly explained the details of what the full repair would entail, why it would cost what it would, and even some suggestions for what I could do to improve the appearance without the full repair. As the cherry on top, he wouldn't even take payment for the mirror install. Unbelievable service. If you need work done on your car, this is without question the place to go.

Absolutely recommended to everyone. Family run business over 50 years. From the initial phone commnication (recommend to call between 9am-3pm) to the final hand-off, everything was simple. Our car had an animal hit and needed the front bumper and lights fixed. Also we wanted some door dings and scrapes to be fixed as well. After ~6 week wait (mainly to get through my insurance company and waiting to arrange for the spare car to use while leaving the car at the shop for ~7-10 days), they provided very satisfying results to the point that strangers wouldn't have noticed any job done on this car. Prices were very reasonable.

Had some body damage and Michael and his partner fixed it right up, great job 'and' hand-washed my vehicle before I picked it up! Smooth and flawless transaction, fair price, great communication; highly recommended!

Go to Hatley’s. My Toyota was involved in a fender-bender. I was able to find matching body panels at the salvage yard, but was worried I would need additional body work order to attach them. The guy at the first body shop I went to in Carrboro briefly looked at my car and told me that he would have to put it up on a frame-puller. He quoted me $350.

Next I went to Hatley's, and the gentleman there was very courteous, but explained that he was booked for another month. Nevertheless, he took the time to examine my car, studying it for a good while before giving it a few good whacks and declaring that it was fine, no charge. He said to drop by again if I had any problems fitting the panels.

I installed them easily enough, but I couldn’t get them to line up properly, so I went back to Hatley's. Again, both the proprietor and his son were very courteous. They invited me to pull into the garage, where they spent twenty or thirty minutes carefully tweaking the hood, fender, and bumper so that the lines between them were perfect. They both clearly took pride in their work and were genuinely interested in fixing my car. Five stars!

I had my car towed there on Saturday. They don’t work on my brand of car because their insurance doesn’t cover that brand. Nevertheless they taped back the bumper. I looked in the shop. They do careful wonderful work.

My gut tells me Steve and his son are gifted, kind, and utterly trustworthy. God Bless Them!

Micheal Hatley is the man. There was five or six different collision shops requiring a 2 or 3 week wait to get seen for a minor scratch and he was able to give me the best and most honest advice to approach the car situation. Will definitely revisit for any future issues. Highly recommend!

Absolutely wonderful experience. Just good, honest people. They quoted me for some damages and they were very straight to the point, honest, and kind. I highly recommend Hayley’s. While no other body shop could get me in for just an estimate for months, they were able to see me the next day. A very positive experience. Wish I could give more than 5 stars.

I had an incredible experience at Hatley’s! I came in, without calling or making an appointment, and Michael Hatley was with me immediately, gave me a simple solution to my problem, and fixed it immediately without charge! As someone who has barely any experience with taking cars to auto repair shops, it was a great experience knowing I was in good and trustworthy hands! They do incredible work!
