For framing, you can't get much better anywhere else. 1) The frame selection is expansive and covers traditional to contemporary tastes. 2) The staff are experienced and knowledgeable. 3) Once they know your taste, they (Scott!!!) work with you to come up with something interesting. 4) They will deliver and hang pictures for you. 5) As said in other reviews, all the staff are so friendly, patient and helpful. They'll frame all kinds of thing--you can see in the attached photos Scott framed a mirror for us, plain and unobtrusive. The first one he hung a few days ago, the others are samplings of frames he did in the past.

I recently went to Framemakers to get my beloved NC lighthouse collection reframed. Oh my goodness!! They are outstanding and the customer service superior. It was a great experience and the newly renovated Frame store is very nice. Becky the new owners has done a great job keeping former staff and bringing in fresh ideas. Thank you!

The Frame and Print Shop in Chapel Hill is fantastic. Suzanne was so helpful and patient helping us with everything from diplomas to family heirlooms to finer prints. I highly recommend them for all of your framing needs.

Most recently, I worked with Scott on a painting I purchased in Germany and the finished product was absolutely stunning. They are my go to shop when I need something to be framed.

I think I have been going to Framemakers since I was a kid. I'm thrilled to able to use them as an adult. Their work is just meticulous, and I love to interact with the staff. They always have great ideas to increase the visual effect of the artwork in the framing!

This is my second time taking a piece of art for framing to Framemakers. This time it was a photograph of a cabin I spent a few nights in whilst on vacation with my sweetheart and I wanted to give as a proper Christmas present to her. I had about an 8” x 6” photo suitable for framing and I knew, in general, what I wanted but I needed help with complimentary colors. The assistant was patient and a great help when I didn’t particularly care for a color she picked out, and if we disagreed, she took my preference and didn’t try to get me to favor “her” style over mine. She tried to get me to find color favorites and I would have given up on myself long before she did. . . but I suppose that is why this lady is so good at her job. She is easy-going and doesn’t push but provides options that she subtly picks-up are my preferences. In the end was a gorgeous, framed piece where the frame and matting perfectly matched the colors in the photograph. Only afterward did I think that this assistant should have signed the matting or somehow indicated part of the artwork was hers. If you want cheap faming, this isn’t the place for you. But if you want proper, diligent framing, with attention to the most delicate of details, then you must go here. I believe you will appreciate their expertise!

Every room in our house has Framemakers' frames in it ---- some with little stands, but mostly on our walls, varying between fanciful and playful, special family photos, and fine art. The very personal and expert attention that Framemakers has given me over the years represents some of the most treasured retail experiences I've ever had.

Everyone is so helpful and generous with their time. They have a great selection of products and can order virtually anything. Like all frame stores it's pricey, but you should display your nice art in nice frames.

I have had several family treasures framed here. The quality of the work is amazing. The costs are high, but worth it.
