Excellent service! Needed new tires. They took the time to quote prices on multiple versions of tires. They walked me thru the difference without any pressure. I waited at the shop and they kept me updated and finished ahead of time.

Despite a small communication error of tire size, they were able to order and install the tires in a day. They also noted a few other key issues and discussed them with us including catching our almost dead battery!

100% recommend. I was traveling through the area, so I needed the work done immediately so I could continue on my way. They went out of the their way to prioritize my repairs. They carefully diagnosed the car, priced out everything and explained it to me, and fixed what needed to be done so I could continue my travels safely. They even topped off my fluids before I headed back on the road. I got very lucky in an unfamiliar place to get a fast and honest service!

Scott and all the guys down at Pooles were a pleasure work with. Their prices are fair, and their knowledge and customer service skills are second to none.

Service was as expected for a tire replacement. Maybe a little pricey? Customer service over the phone was excellent, though! I would likely call them first for any other issues with my car!

**Update** Just had a few more nails found in my tires. Regardless of price, I will continue to bring my vehicle here. It's hard to find people you trust these days!

We have two cars - a Chevy Malibu and a Honda CR-V. Over the last few weeks both of them have needed a variety of things including an inspection, oil change, diagnostic tests, brake pad replacement and a new air compressor. This place is fantastic for all of those car troubles!

They are fast (both brakes and AC fixed same-day) and the communication was honest and straightforward. Poole's took the time to clearly explain each repair and the various options offered and helped me come to the right decision on the AC repair. The cost was good (lower end of a couple estimates I researched)

At first I was surprised that they do not make appointments but this helps them work efficiently, with a faster turnaround than other places I've been. I don't plan to go anywhere else for most car repairs!

I take my car to Poole’s all the time. They are very knowledgeable and explain throughly what is wrong with my car or what maintenance they did. While my car was there this last time Carlos keep me up to date on what’s going on with my car. Which I appreciated.

Hands down, the best experience I have had at a mechanic in North Carolina, and in my top 5 of all time. Excellent communication, so pleasant and knowledgeable, great prices and honest feedback. Even their first come first serve policy is appreciated, because if they worked by appointment I have a feeling they would be booked solid all the time and unavailable to a lot of us that have issues just come up and need help.
Poole's Garage is a valuable asset to our community, and have made a customer for life. Plus they have pug stuff all over the waiting room, and that is adorable.

These guys were awesome! I had a nail that was not patchable so they tried 2 plugs. Didn't work. They didn't charge me and sent me to a salvage yard where I found a great deal on a used tire. Thanks for the great customer service!

The reviews match this place vibes. I took my SUV in for brake service and explained the history of how my breaks gradually got worse even though they were supposedly new per the dealership 3months prior. They were friendly and helpful, showed me what was wrong, told me what they would do to fix it, left the same day. I was super excited and it didn’t cost me an arm & a leg. I think I found a new shop to continue to take my car to.

This is definitely my new go to for my car services. Customer service is outstanding and my car was dropped off and returned to me by end of the day! Pricing was fair and my car drives like new again.

I only went in for an oil change but the experience was pleasant. Hearing the staff interact with the customers coming through the door I realized they have a lot of repeat customers. That's definitely a good thing and a great sign of respectful and good service.

I found the staff's demeanor to be friendly and informative. I will be returning to get a second car's oil changed there.

Very professional. Even though they were booked for a couple of days, which was understable, they put new brakes and rotors on my car with ease. Even after that, they mailed me a thank you note twice, yes twice, about how they appreciated me coming in to see them. It goes to show you that they really value their customers and their reputation. I'll definitely come back here again for any repairs for my car.

Friendly,great customer service and great service. We were down visiting my son who goes to school in Raleigh. My son had a nail in the tread of his tire. I looked up tire service near me and Pooles Garage came up. I read the reviews and decided to give them a try. Rich couldn't have been nicer. He got my sons car in right away and was able to have the leaky tire plugged and get me back on the road in 15 minutes.

I was told this garage had great customer service and handled tire issues as quickly as possible.

I stopped in for a tire repair, one of my tires had a slow leak due to a nail stuck in the tread. I assumed the shop did very good work based on the fact the line of customers already waiting before 8am, although they were not able to get me in immediately, I was able to return two hours later to have my tire looked at.

I waited in the very comfortable waiting area, they have plenty of comfortable couch and recliner seating in front of the TV.

The work did not take very long, they fixed the tire and the cost was more than reasonable. This is a great shop with talented and great people operating it!

My husband and I have been there for starter replaced, plugged tire, and recently valve cover gasket replaced. I must say the whole staff were excellent even when I took it back to check my engine light. They knew exactly what to do to fix it and was determined to do just that no matter how much time. Very friendly and knowledgeable. The place has a home feel. The Scarboro's are so happy with their service. Thanks Scott Jeff and all. Have a great Christmas!!! God Bless
