I walked in a was absolutely floored at how amazing this store is. Robert was also just a super chill dude. You need to stop by here for all your nerdy needs. Games, statues, plushies, figures galore!! A little pricey but the market rises and falls. We talked about an item he was willing to make adjustments for. I love small business and local shopping.

What an incredible find! Games to play all the way back to Atari! Loved playing duck hunt and shopping for hard to find games for consoles! The owner was amazing and the team really know their product. They will buy a lot of my old consoles and games. Everything is beautifully organized. I can’t wait to go back!

Was very pleased with my purchases. Bought a play station 3 and some games all in very great condition, the console works very clean. Perfect gift for my dad. The 2 lady's were very helpful with my questions. Will most definitely come by again

Absolutely floored by this store! Coming down to South Carolina to visit a relative, I wasn’t expecting to visit this gem of an establishment! You can tell the variety and selection of vintage game/consoles has been crafted with love!

I purchased a PS2 and Gameboy Advance game and the employee Kai was extremely helpful! She let me test the games before buying and even cleaned the GBA cart! Will definitely make this a destination in future trips!

This store is a lot of fun. Gobs and gobs of old games and hardware for almost every system from Atari 2600. I bought a used PS3 Slim and some games. There was a slight problem with one of the controllers, and they fixed it no questions asked. I'll definitely be back.

I called ahead to make sure that they had both the Game Boy 3DS and one of Pokémon moon or sun. Not only did they have what I needed but they double checked and then went on to say that I may want to look at a 2DS because the 3DS messed with her eyes, which I have problems with that too from time to time, so great recommendation.it is a really cool store and I know some people say their prices are high, but this is all relevant to the market and considering they’ll have your back if something breaks I can’t complain too much because it’s not gonna be the same thing everywhere else. Very good selection very well. Organized and very well put together. I’ll definitely see them again.

If you’re looking for a wide collection of video games, anime figurines and anime merch, this is your store. The staff were very friendly and eager to help customers. There was also a ton of consoles and arcade games to play on, including a DDR machine! Almost went home with that Elphelt figurine they had. Loved the place!

This is my favorite store! They have such a nice collection of games and accessories for all video game console generations. Rob the owner is such a nice guy along with some lovely ladies that all make sure you find something you would want! They have a lot of consoles hooked up to let you play or test games also, and I wish I had learned about this store a long time ago! Thank you for helping me to continue building my collection, and to have such an incredible place to be able to do so!

Such a fun place to explore. We were visiting from out of state and looked up game stores. So happy we found this little gem. Found some cool gifts too.

Loved the shop and all the friendly staff there. Great for past console nostalgia as well as some current titles. Glad to have a brick and mortar store like this in the area. Feel I could meet other people in the gaming/collection/anime community that's local. Will def visit again.

Are you a "geriatric millennial"? Do you have a "best girl", or at least know what a "best girl" is? Have you purchased at least one decorative weapon in your life? Do you have Gen Z kids who only take their eyes off their phones to roll them when you tell them about "the old days" where you had to fight your siblings to not have the MadKatz controller in Star Wars Episode I: Pod Racer for N64? No? Just me?

Well, if you can relate to any of that, The Game Room is well worth the trip. Your eyes will find a new delight every time you turn around. The store is jam packed with anime and video game art and memorabilia, lovingly collected and displayed. Soak yourself in that warm frothy nostalgia until your fingers prune up and your wallet is empty, because they have something for everyone.

This place is great, I love coming here on my way home from Trident Tech every once in a while. I swear that everytime I come in, I see something new and unique. The owner is a really nice guy and the employee are very nice as well. I 100% recommend this place.

Loved visiting this store! They had a wide variety of games for pretty much every system you could think of. I bought three games and all were priced very fairly considering what retro games are going for now. The employees were very kind. I would certainly come back here next time I’m in the area.

Edit: We still go to The Game Room every other week! Love their business and they have expanded their selections of games and anime figures. Absolutely must stop shop, places like this make you wonder why certain other mega-chain game stores still exist.

Well if you're into a blast from the past and a bunch newer stuff, this is the place. This is my favorite kind of nerd store, I can get a lot of nostalgia out of this fun store. If I had money to burn I'd probably go crazy here!

This is by far the best retro or anything else you want video game store and the workers are so friendly they answer any questions that you have and also tell you about the games and the systems and also if you have problems with anything they will let you come back and exchange to get what you need I can honestly say I felt like I was in a time capsule going back to my childhood today and I loved and I will definitely recommend this store to anyone who is an old gamer or just starting to game trust you will not want to leave just like me lmao

If you’re an anime lover and gamer this is the place for you to collect!! Everything is top quality. If I had the money I’d buy everything. The lady in there is super nice too! We always have a nice chat when I come in.

I love this place! I started as a customer at the coastal Carolina flea market in Ladson and couldn't be happier to see this store open. There is a huge selection of just about every system out there and the organization makes it accessible and fun to pick through with a very helpful staff. I'm super happy with my experience and can't wait to go back! Can't get over my new additions.
