I attempted to make a mortgage payment today that was accidentally one penny off. Payment was not excepted and was told to write a new check. Denise the teller could not have been less helpful, despite multiple options that could have save me from taking off work early to make another payment. I asked multiple times what the payment discrepancy was and had to find out on my own later that I was only one penny off. Was later told by the manager It would be considered a missed payment and would affect my credit if the payment was accepted. Not the customer service I expect from the bank I’ve been with for eight years. Over one penny. Again many steps could have been taking to save me another trip.

Worst customer experience. Went and withdrew funds from ATM, asked to exchange for larger bills, was denied. They said they couldn't because I didn't have an account with them. Though they didn't have any problem charging me $3.50 to use their ATM. Thought about opening an account only to close it so I could get larger bills, but didn't want to waste 30 minutes of my life to do so. Very disappointing from a "local bank".
