I'm not a big seafood eater, but this place is my absolute favorite! I try to eat there at least once a week,more if I can get away with it!! Since the new owner the food has been absolutely phenomenal! Everything on the menu I've tried, I've loved!! The flavors are simply melt in your mouth!! I like how the owner not only helps cook the food but will also deliver your food from time to time. At least once at every visit he takes the time to make his rounds to visit with the customers and make sure things are to their liking. The staff is a perfect example of southern hospitality! No matter how hard they are working, there's always a cheerful face! They have added extra tables outside to make more room for customers and also a couple games to play to help pass the time or keep little ones busy! I've been going here for the past 9 years, but definitely more frequently since new owner! If you are undecided on dinner, or just want something good give this place a try!! New hours closed on Sunday! 🫤Bummer.

Very comfortable seafood restaurant with great food, liked the booth with view of tv, first visit, had the calabash shrimp salt and peppered, very good and nice portion, onion rings were massive with a good amount of onion inside instead of just bread , drink prices were reasonable, especially bottled beer, very good service, hope to be back soon, 5 stars for the best shrimp and beer prices in area, thank you !

I have lived in Clover for 7 years and just tried this restaurant. We don’t live far from here and have talked about trying it but never got around to it. I wish we would have tried this 7 years ago!! What amazing food and great atmosphere as well. The portions are huge and prices are more than reasonable. We will definitely be making this restaurant one of our GoTo places to eat now

We had driven past this restaurant many of times and decided to stop in and give it a try. Their smoked brisket was amazing, steaks were seasoned well and portion sizes were large. Sides such as the coleslaw, mash potatoes, onion rings were great as well. My daughter had the chicken strips, some of the most moist and tasty chicken tenders I have tried. Glad we decided to try after the new ownership came in. Spoke briefly to the new management and they were super nice. Well worth a little extra drive.

Wow I wish we would have tried this place sooner! We are traveling the United States full time in our rv, but came back to the Charlotte area for some appointments and we found one of the best seafood restaurants in the Charlotte area! Our waitress was so friendly and the crab cake was the best I’ve ever eaten and I’ve eaten a lot of crab cakes in my 63 years. The flounder was fantastic also. We got banana pudding to go and I can’t wait to get back to our motorhome to try it! We will be back!

Lived 34 years in Kings Mountain and have passed this place countless times and never stopped. Finally did it. Excellent decision! Great fried fish and blackened snapper. The service was top notch. Keep up the good work. Well be back for sure!

Three of us went for dinner and had the salt n pepper flounder, fried oysters, and the blackened grilled snapper. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and are looking forward to trying their low-country boil on Wednesday. Our server was very busy yet also very attentive. Prices were comparable to other seafood restaurants. They also have an outdoor bar and seating. Very relaxing and casual atmosphere.

Under new ownership as of 2022! The food, atmosphere, service is great! The food is fresh and flavorful. They have options for fish, seafood to be grilled as well as BBQ nights on Friday and Saturday. The service is quick. The outdoor seating area is awesome when the weather is nice. York’s best kept secret! Love coming here!

I have to admit that I quit going here a few years ago because the food quality had declined and the owner was not pleasant. I had someone want to meet us there for dinner last night and found that they gave a new owner and they food was great! Crab cakes need a little work but everything else was really good! I'll be back!

Went with some friends and the food was great. Everyone had something different, so we all tried a little of everything. Great atmosphere and service. Only draw back was that the pulled pork was a bit on the salty side, but still worth eating.

Amazing food, great service and cozy restaurant. Waitstaff actually happy to serve you. Had the half rack of ribs with fries, homemade onion rings, coleslaw, and texas toast. Amazing. We drove from Lexungton 1 1/2 hours away and can't wait to make the trip back.

Excellent place to eat. Really enjoyed my meal. My sweet tea class never got near empty. Very friendly people and they have frog legs! Highly recommend this place

We live a few minutes down the road and came in at the recommendation of our in-laws. My family and I each ordered something different so we could all try pretty much everything they had on the menu. The wings, potato salad, and onion rings were each the best that I have ever had. The dry rub seasoning on the ribs were also excellent. The crabcakes weren’t our favorite, but everything else, including the service, was second to none. I read several reviews before going that complained about the prices and the portions. I can’t speak for the portions when the previous owner ran it, but all of our portions were very generous and we had a lot of food left over. As for the prices, they were very in line, and in my opinion fair, for 2022. I can guarantee you the owner is not making any more money than he used to by raising the prices, he’s just trying to stay afloat. So if you don’t like the increase in prices, blame Joe Biden and his inflation, not the owner. We all look forward to coming back and this will be our new go-to spot. Thank you for the excellent food and service.

The new BBQ is insanely good. The smoked turkey was fantastic. There was a lot of food on my 3 meat plate and I couldn't finish it all. Fried green tomatoes were great as well. Wife got the fish and enjoyed it. We will be back more often.

Me and my husband went here for the first time ever today and the food was delicious! The service was great and the owner was in there working the bar and greeting people and was super friendly! Very cozy atmosphere and cool outdoor area as well. Will definitely be back.
