Their meat is truly the best in town! Very friendly staff, willing to help and knowledgeable about their merchandise. Love the down-home feel of the place. They carry your groceries to your car (no charge) . Very fair prices. I won't buy my meat to cook at home anywhere else.

This maybe one of Murfreesboro's best hidden secrets. This place has some of the best prices on meat and produce. Although it is a fairly small grocery store, it has everything you need, and it's easy to get in and out quickly. This is where I go if I need an ingredient in a pinch.

Always a great experience shopping here. Great prices, great customer service, and the ability to support small business makes coming here a no-brainer. If you’re looking for specialty items, head to Kroger or somewhere else. But your standard groceries and especially meats and southern pantry goods can all be found here.

I try to shop here for all of my groceries. They typically have everything I need. Some things are a little bit more expensive than Walmart or Kroger, but not so much for me to consider giving my money to a larger corporation. They also have an actual butcher. The store is always clean and organized. The employees are helpful.

Great meat counter and great staff?

Jr's is a great little small down grocery store. The prices are pretty much the same as chain stores but the quality is way better. The employees are some of the nicest you'll have the pleasure of interacting with, and they walk your groceries to your car and load them. They ARE allowed to accept tips so keep that in mind. $1-3 goes a long way. Its not expected nor mandatory but its always appreciated.

Every time I go in, I love them even more. They're great people, and they have a good selection crammed into the tiny space. It's super convenient as the only real grocery store downtown, and their meats are great!
