McDonald's

I wrote a not so good review and then I thought about it, I worked at McDonald's as a kid, I am 69 now, for .95 cents an hour. We hustled, we ran, we work neckties on the window, we pealed and washed and blanched our potatoes, we had the customers order in their hand in 30 seconds. We were so proud of our jobs, we were kids, our first job. Now we demand a living wage from McDonald's, its no longer a part time kids job, its someone that wants a job and pay bills. McDonald's evolved, the cut out all the service but maintained the product, we have to wait longer, no smiling faces taking our order, no thank you sir but we still get a discounted quality meal at a much longer wait time, the employee that are left makes more money. I do miss the old days when the burgers were 15 cents and gas was 19 cents. Only one family member had to work. Things change and McDonald's had evolve to survive. We the public did this to ourselves not McDonald's. Thanks for still being here for us

I’ve eaten at this McDonalds several times and the food is always fresh and hot. The drive-thru line moves swiftly and the customer service is great so far. Hands down one of the best McDonalds I’ve ever been to. I hope they keep up the good work.

It's McDonald's. I had expectations and they delivered. The Egg McMuffin was delicious.

This is the cleanest store that I’ve ever been in! I was very impressed with the staff and service that we received! Keep up the great work!

The food came out hot. I really enjoyed it I love to see a good clean McDonald's. Also I like service. They were pushing people to do the app which was okay. I understand that sometimes they get busy and the app helps them get food out faster so I'm with it enjoyed my visit thanks

I need y’all to know that I’ve never left a review for a fast food restaurant in my entire life. Not even for Chick-fil-A. But I just had the best experience I could’ve ever asked for at this McDonald’s. Prepare for a rollercoaster of flowery language while I detail, what can only be described as, a life changing experience.

First, I opened my McDonald’s app. Then, I scrolled to the “Deals” section. My eyes were graced with a plethora of discounted options. In fact, there were so many that it took me 20 minutes to figure out which deal would satisfy my lunchtime craving. Once I settled on what I wanted, I placed my mobile order, and I headed to this McDonald’s.

From my previous experiences in Memphis, my hometown, I expected the same service. Disappointing. Stressful. Anger-inducing. I pulled into the parking lot bracing myself for disappointment. The all too frequent emotions began to fester, and my body prepared its “fight or flight” response. Psychologists call this a “trauma response.” I’ve been traumatized at many locations before. So, I braced for impact.

As I pulled into my curbside order parking spot, I noticed employees inside doing, what seemed to be, Olympic training exercises. Employees running to and fro. Hamburger buns and soda cups being frantically fashioned into order-specific bags. I immediately burst into tears because I thought the employees were in a brawl. No sooner than the first tear had fallen from my eyes did an employee come sprinting out the door with my order. She looked as a soldier prepared for war. She sprinted to my window, so I rolled it down. We didn’t speak for a few seconds. We made eye contact. It was as if time itself had stopped to greet us with angelic praise. Then, came the following words…

“Good afternoon, sir. Did you have the Big Mac and the 10-piece nugget?” I was speechless. I didn’t get yelled at. I didn’t get told the ice cream machine was broken. I was called “sir,” and the order she called out to me was correct. Struggling to find words, I simply responded, “Yes I-I believe I did. Th-thank you so much.” She gave me the order. The Big Mac was hot. The nuggets crispy. All was right in the world. But then I realized I’d forgotten to order fries.

My muscle memory lured me directly to the app, and I noticed ANOTHER deal for a free large fry. The best part? NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. I hastily ordered and made my way to the speaker to order. The man who answered was kind. He cracked jokes. He welcomed me with open arms. When I get to Heaven, I hope the angels greet me with similar energy.

As I pulled up to the window, the kind man said, “Good morning! Here’s your receipt for NO purchase!! *Ahahahah*.” Get it? No purchase necessary, but his amazing customer service skills obliged him to give me a receipt that shows I paid NOTHING for a large fry. He smiled at me. We locked eyes. We smiled. With all the sincerity of a parent sending their child off on his/her first day of school, he said, “Have an amazing day sir.”

I pulled up to window #2 to receive my order, but I almost wrecked. Why, you ask? Because my eyes were filled with tears. As I approached the 2nd window, my order was waiting. Ready. Perfect. The bag was perfectly creased. The arm motion to extend the fries to my open hand was flawlessly executed. The man smiled and said, “Here are your fries, sir.” I responded, “Thank you so much. But please, call me Joshua.”

I’m not one to be melodramatic, but this experience fundamentally changed the trajectory of my life. One day, I hope I can repay the kindness I was shown today at this McDonald’s. Believe it or not, I immediately called up my friends in Washington D.C., and we had an hour long conversation about my experience. They’re coming into town this weekend, and guess what they requested for lunch? You guessed it. McDonald’s. I felt seen. I felt heard. I felt validated. Thank you for blessing me with such a rejuvenating fast food experience. I don’t say this lightly, but…God bless you. God bless your families. God bless America. Amen.

The service was great and the food was fresh.

I am a Dasher for Door Dash and I visited this location this evening to pick up an order. What I witnessed made me very happy. This place was slammed busy, but every single employee in the store was working together, doing their jobs, with a good attitude and a sense of urgency, without cutting corners. I’ve been in a lot of places, and sometimes people have a good attitude and sometimes they don’t, and sometimes they have a sense of urgency and sometimes they don’t, and sometimes they work together and sometimes they don’t, but it’s super rare to see all these things working in combination with each other. I just wanted to tell them that I was really so happy to see them all doing their jobs to the best of their abilities. I love to see it when people actually care to do something right. I love the food there has so much flavor even tho sometimes the fries are stale everything else is delicious

Everyone's always super friendly, they never mess up my order ( I stop by for lunch often) and the food is always as expected👍

They have great Customer service! I stop at this location nearly every day to get sweet tea . I can’t recall one time that I didn’t have a friendly person serving me through the window. . They’re also just as friendly Whenever I’ve went inside as well. Also they are very clean! The bathroom is always clean!

Love this location!! Food is always fresh the place is alerts clean. You will not find a more friendlier, welcoming staff in the state! Make that the country, I travel the country frequently. Ketchup is only by packet, not crazy about that but doesn't stop me from coming 15 miles out of my way for this location.

They are incredibly consistent and fast. Great people too. If you're on your way somewhere and need a bite fast, this is the one.

This McDonald's stands out. When I order threw the app they are quick to come to the car 99% of the time and it is Always freshly made. I recommend to anyone if you order a filet o fish, get it Made To Oder. That ways it's fresh Everytime

I brought my dog Bobbie (Great Dane/ pit-bull) along tonight and she decided to step over me to greet the employees. They were a little scared because of her size but she just wanted some love. They were very welcoming. Even got some treats for her!! Bobbie and I will definitely be back soon!

iced coffee bad must get no ice

Stopped in to get food for a birthday party. Ordered 15 hamburgers and fries. Waite time was less than 5 minutes.

I stop here every Saturday morning and they have consistently been fast and friendly and the food has been delicious. I always go through the drive thru and they have my food waiting as soon as I get to the window. Great job guys!

My husband ordered 2 quarter pound deluxe. With large fries and 2 sprites.. the quarter pounders looked like cheeseburgers . Had little lettuce . His had tomatoe mine did not.. mine was mostly cut onions.. we did get the 2 large fries.. 1 large sprite and a medium sprite.. defiantly not worth 21.00.. we should have got mcdoubles and fries and husband a sprite would have been cheaper. Because I don't drink sodas..and they said they couldn't serve orange juice for lunch..

The guy at the window made an extra trip to be sure I had the sauce that he originally was told they were out of. He saw me leaving and came to my car.
He is exceptionally nice
