Stumbled by here while shopping and went and ordered to go, OMG from the kind people at the counter taking time to explain the menu to the prices all fantastic, went next door to the chop house and had a martini as they said 35 minutes for it be ready, hot everything home and it’s a home run, don’t hesitate to try these guys it’s great! Ate everything so quick we didn’t get a picture. Expect of my martini next door

My first time eating Indian food. I was the only one in there so the waiter had time to explain many dishes to me. I explained that I can't have spicy foods so he said almost any dish could be made not spicy. The flavors were great, restaurant had nice atmosphere, and all the people were very nice. I will return here to try more dishes.

I ordered take out. Tandoori chicken, vegetable biryani rice, and meat samosas. The food was delicious! Service was great! Staff were friendly, food was done in a timely manner. I will be going again.

This is my favorite place to eat of all times. This restaurant was also my first time ever trying food from a different culture. The butter chicken or lamb curry is always a 100/10. This is the best Indian Restaurant I have ever been to. The food is like a warm hug and comforting to my soul. I love it here!

Update - Another fantastic meal with great service. Full of flavor and I had them kick it up in spice a bit. Tasty :-)

Wow! What amazing flavors! So glad I found this place. If your taste buds need a wake up call this is the place. The different layers of flavors in one single bite is amazing. I had the Chicken Karahai and it was excellent. The restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly and attentive. The menu is quite large so there's plenty to pick from. I'm looking forward to coming back.

Well i love Indian food but not in Indian restaurants in America😀 i prefer cooking home because i get disappointed most of the times haha.. but not this time. i am glad that one of my friend chose this place for a lunch meeting. Loved every single dish we have ordered. Everything was so fresh, tasty and right amount of masala were added. Not too much of anything. We ordered vegetable pakora platter which had 2 samosas and different pakoras (onion, potato, cauliflower). Samosas were super good . Loved it. For the main course- veg Biriyani, tandoori rotis, paneer masala and baigan bharta. Everything was so delicious. It was like home made. Will definitely visit this place again when i go to Nashville. 😬

Came to eat lunch on a Tuesday. It was empty but that was a good thing. We ordered a mixed grill plate and the tandoor special bayrani. I got a mango lassi to drink.
We got both dishes at hot level. Hot is pretty hot. They offered an extra hot but if hot was that hot, I don't think I can handle extra hot.
The naan was good and the sauces were good too. A yogurt sauce and a cilantro mint sauce.
All and all it was good. I just wish they had a buffet for lunch.

Had a wonderful late lunch. They are open till 230 then open again at 5pm. I chose Saag Chuley (spinach and chickpeas with a lovely thick creamy red sauce and you can put it over rice. Which also comes with it. I also chose Aloo Naan, which is the flat thin bread with mashed spiced potatoes (aloo) mixed in the dough. Very tasty. If you are not sure of spice just go for the lowest which is a #1.
They have food for everyone. Vegetarian. Chicken , lamb, chef specials looked very inviting and house specials as well. Which is the meal I chose. Defiantly a return dining choice. Enjoy!

Not gonna lie this is hands down the best Indian restaurant I’ve ever been to me and wife have searched high and low and the quality here never disappoints, the staff is so friendly , the food full of flavor , and there is always a new option to try here , vegetable korma , and chicken tiki , are me and my wife’s go to and this has the best in all of Tennessee

We have ordered Veg Thali and Briyani.
Veg Thali was so good can give 8 out of 10
Briyani definitely need improvement, it doesn’t have flavor of Briyani, it’s like veg fried rice. If they improve the Briyani definitely they will get more happy customer. Starters are so good.. we enjoyed lot…

This was a great northern Indian restaurant. The papadum was fresh and crispy. The Chicken Biryani was excellent and the right heat for me at 4 out of 6. Our waitress Jay was excellent also. A great dining experience.

(Just hopping back on this review years later to say that this 5 star rating 100% still stands and they are always my only choice for Indian food within a 40 mile radius)

Tandoor is (by far) the best Indian food I’ve ever had - I’m so glad we have this gem right here in the ‘Boro. The staff is friendly, online ordering is convenient, and the food is SO DELICIOUS.

If you are looking for the best vegetable dishes - I highly recommend the Karahi Aloo Palak (imagine warm spinach & potato magic), Bhindi Masala (perfectly spiced okra), Bengan Bhartha (eggplant, peas, onions, and all the best spices), Chicken Tikka Masala (classic for a reason!) and the naan!

It’s always freshly made and feels like a warm hug from the inside out. Thank you Tandoor for offering the best quality Indian food in the area.

Food is always fantastic, service is always friendly but not overly involved. Always get take out boxes and it’s still great the next day. Favorite place to eat out.

My wife and I just ate here for the first time based on our son's recommendation. The menu is quite extensive and overwhelming, especially if you're like us and don't eat a lot of Indian food. Our waiter was extremely helpful and explained many of the dishes to us. We ended up basically getting exactly what he recommended and it was all amazing. We will definitely be back again soon! I highly recommend you give this place a try. Do it!

3 years ago, I gave this place 3 stars. Over the last year or two, I have heard about how great this place is, and I was so confused. When it opened, it wasn't great. I went twice and didn't go back. I was honestly surprised it stayed open!
But a lot has changed in 3 years. Our usual Indian spot was closed, so I called Tandoor and ordered our own little buffet. Totally worth it. All together, this was about $70. Will feed 2 people for 3+ days haha. Everything was delicious! Yes, it would probably have been even better to dine in, but takeaway was our plan.
The appetizer was the mixed platter. I like these type of options! They're great for indecisive appetizer people like me. My favorite was of course the vegetable pakora. It always is 😂😂
We got both plain and garlic naan. It was probably much more crisp in the restaurant, but it still tasted delicious.
For meats, we had Keema Matar and Chicken Tikka Masala. Both were very very good. The Keema Matar might be better than I've had at my normal joint! 😳
For veg, we had vegetable curry and saag paneer. If anything was not as good as the rest, it was the vegetable curry, but that does not mean it wasn't good!
We do still have like 4 good meals left, so it ended up being just over $10/meal. These days, you can't get much better than that. And you definitely cannot for this deliciousness.
Go get you some Tandoor!

The best Indian restaurant in Murfreesboro! The food is always great and the service is always wonderful. The servers/workers are always so nice and kind. I recommend Tandoor to everyone and hope to be able to eat this delicious Indian food for a long time!!

This food is absolutely amazing!!! I lived in the Middle East for 4 1/2 and it’s been so hard to find authentic Indian cuisine, but Tandoor is top notch! And their customer service is always great as well!!!

Amazing food great value and great taste. Everything was perfect thank you. We were not disappointed. Samosas we’re amazing naan bread was tasty chicken vindaloo perfect will for sure Be back again

This is my favorite Indian in the boro we've been coming here for 7 years and it's always fabulous ❤ I wish they'd bring back the buffet 😋
