Main Street Restaurant

Huge Menu with so many good choices it's hard to make a decision. That just translates to me that I need to go back. My family and I had a great time enjoying good comfort food. My gf even said their dressing was pretty good. She only likes her nannys dressing. So that's saying something. We will be back!

The food and the service were absolutely amazing !! Our waitress Ansley was so sweet and attentive. The food is cooked from scratch and when I say it tasted like grandma's home cooking, I am not exaggerating! Make sure you grab the homemade muffins they are delicious!! Thank you Bill and your wife for your kindness, we will definitely be back!

I was looking up a breakfast place because I have to take my medicine with food and I really really didn't want drive thru or WaHo or Ihop....happened to find this place recommended as nearby breakfast and after mixed reviews thought I'd give it a try.

The small Cons first. (Some of these are personal taste/preference):

The sweet tea is not Southern Sweet Tea so that made me sad.

They also do not offer any Iced coffees which I was surprised as it is a breakfast place but it may not be a big request so that is understandable as well.

My three bigger cons:

My first fork was dirty but I was given a new one quickly after asking (second one was clean so no big deal)

the server did send back correctly my eggs scrambled well but they were not actually well (again this could be their version of well so not that big of a deal) and was not the servers fault as she did put in the order correctly.

I was sat not to far from the door so a fly did get in and land on one of my pieces of pancake and then on top of the syrup bottle which I asked the server to remove so it can be cleaned but that really does make one lose their appetite rather quickly so I just asked to take what was left to go....

Now for The pros:

The food didn't take long maybe 12 minutes and this was at 9:30AM so I was surprised it wasn't a bit busier.

The corned beef hash was by far one of the best I have had in a LONG time they grill it I'm guessing but it has a nice crunch/crust layer on the outside which was super good.

The pancake I ordered with blueberries had whole large blueberries in it not the tiny melt away kind that you find in most places and it was pretty large of a pancake.

Overall: (tldr)

The servers were very sweet, the breakfast food was great and didn't take long at all ...if it does I'm sure it's because they are busy. Absolutely will be back but next time I'll ask to sit further away from the front door.

Omg!!! Our first time there and all 5 of us were delighted. Ansley was a great host and we even met the staff. You have to try the salmon patties, collard greens, chicken & dumplings… just try everything 😊! We’ll definitely be back!

The Food was so delicious and prices were amazing. However the thing that stood out the most was the server, they have the most Amaaaazing sweetheart of a waitress, you could not find a sweeter, kinder person. I did not get her name, but she was young and had pink streak in her hair, what ever section she is taking care of that's where me and my family will be sitting. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!!!

My dad and I stopped by this restaurant yesterday and I have to say, I was quite impressed with this restaurant. The very friendly atmosphere complimented the very delicious food. Also, the great service was the icing on the cake. If you haven't tried this restaurant, your in for a treat! 👍👍

Good food, good service, and good people. I like a business where the owner is present, involved, and mingles with the clientele. We go for breakfast and have never been disappointed.

Main Street Restaurant is a diamond in the rough! The staff made me feel as if I was the only customer in the establishment. Every surface, including the seats and door handles were cleaned prior to sitting down. I ordered Eggs Benedict and my expectations were exceeded. The sauce was creamy, hearty, and perfectly seasoned. The English muffin was grilled to perfection. Hash browns were a perfect accent to the meal. Abigail was my server and went above and beyond to clean/sanitize every surface. Hats off to the chef who came out to personally ask how the food was. 10/10 recommend ❤

The "house specialty" calzone with chunky sauce was superb! Even though we had a large party of folks, the service provided was exceptional. They have a wide selection of meal options; therefore, I'm sure you will be pleased with any of their entrees. It was my first visit, but we will return!

Went for an earlyish Sunday morning breakfast. 3 adults and 4 kids. Food was excellent. Charlie, our server, was great, as always. Sat in side room so kids were able to move around.

Awesome. The wait is long but very worth it, there is great deals on the daily specials. The tea is sweet, a bit much for me and the food is large portions.

The food always, and I do mean ALWAYS, great. They are a bit understaffed, so bring your patience. But the wait is worth it. Don't miss this excellent eatery.

UPDATED REVIEW: I have given this place a second chance and I am so glad I did. I have been there numerous times over the last year and it is exactly what I miss about back home. The staff is friendly and welcoming and chat when they can, the food is good and decent portions for the price. My mind has been changed and we will definitely be back again and again!

Staff was very friendly and the place was clean. However, we waited almost 40 minutes for our food and they only came by to refill coffee once during that time. Sadly disappointed for a first time visit.

Food is DELICIOUS (esp their cabbage roll soup 😋😋). Employees are super sweet and their service is always great!!!!
