Hadn’t been here since they opened YEAAARS ago. Sister convinced me to…and I’ll definitely be coming here regularly now. The food was amazing, great margaritas. The fajitas actually came out super hot rather than on a sizzling plate and the food still being like warm like other places do!!

My family had a great experience at Herraduras. We went on a Monday. Salsa flavors were good, prices were great, much lower than other restaurants. Large Peach Margarita special for $5. Delicious flavors all around. Would highly recommend.

Found this place on yelp while visiting for business. My co worker wanted to find a local restaurant. Our server was friendly and attentive. Food was delicious! I had the three dos xx shrimp tacos and my co worker had the beef tacos. If you like salsa, there is so many to choose from.
If I am ever in town again I will eat here.

Amazing chips and salsa the kiddos working there were amazing, waiter was amazing it was busy but they still had plenty of time to check up on us. only bad thing is not enough space felt crowded!!! On Friday the chips were amazing and fast and had plenty of refills on chips

Warm roasted salsa and chips was excellent. Letty was very pleasant and friendly, great service. Food was great too! Best refried beans ever, smokey goodness! Definitely will be back when in Lufkin!

The food was fantastic and service was outstanding. I drive past it all the time and never knew it was there. Then a coworker told me try Herradurras. So glad I did, I'll be back!

Love going here for the lunch fajitas. Birra tacos are awesome as well. I always get lunch here for my office. They love the steak fajitas as well. Salsa is good. White quest is good. Service is always consistent.

With all due respect to Cafe Del Rio, Herradura's is better. Salsa is fresh and perfectly spiced. Chips are thicker than average Mexican restaurants and obviously freshly fried. I had a combo meal (forget the name) but chicken enchilada smothered in mushroom sauce, a steak enchilada, 4 chicken cheese flaunts, smoked beans and rice. My wife had Pollo de pablano, and the grilled vegetables were divine! We won't mention how good the margaritas on the rocks are. Overall, best Mexican food I've had in East Texas

BEST Mexican Restaurant by far in East Texas. Chips and salsa alone will tell you how good your entree will taste! 🌮🍤🍽 Had the Chimichanga and partner had Shrimp Enchiladas, both absolutely delicious!

I absolutely love their food! Everything I've had is delicious. My favorite is their egg rolls. Crispy outside with a ton of flavor.

Let me just say, this was a hidden gem!!! My dad is known for finding hole in the wall places that have great food, so I shouldn't have been surprised when he brought me here, this place is so unassuming from the outside but boy did they have great food. When they brought the chips out I automatically knew the food was gonna be good. I've always said if a Mexican restaurant has the red and green mixed chips...it's good lol. I got the Jackie or something like that, it was 3 courses. Tortilla soup, chicken tiga enchiladas with a mushroom cream sauce, beans and rice and a sopopilla for dessert. My dad got the Dos XX Shrimp tacos and said they were also very good. Oh and the sweet tea....best I've had in a long time. If your not sure about this place, your missing out, run don't walk and try them out.

The food was incredible!! Service was good but a little slow.

This my families second visit. First time I went there I got the beef quesadillas which were really good. This time I got the beef chicken and shrimp fajitas this was good as well. I would definitely recommend eating here. Generous portions with both meals that I've had and left full. Ordered a pepperoni pizza and fries for our daughter and it was good as well. Pleased with our visit and will be going back.

Nestled in an unassuming strip center, Herraduras is a fantastic Tex mex treasure. The interior is a little dark, but the food rivals anything in Houston or other big cities.

We started out with the Herraduras sampler which contained 2 southwestern egg rolls, quesadillas and a ground beef toastada. The egg rolls and quesadillas were tasty and not too greasy. The tostada was a little heavy.

We ordered the parillada fajitas which was chicken and beef on a sizzling platter. What I really liked about the food is they mixed in green bell peppers and shredded beef and onions which soaked up all the juices. It comes with guacamole, sour cream and pico de Gallo.

Everything was tasty, service was good and not rushed. Highly recommended!

Fresh fro the grill 😋 not precooked and then microwaved. It's hard to find in Lufkin or Nacogdoches. Place needs to expand because it's a little tight with seating.

It was very good, the food we got was exceptional. The drinks were good too. The waitress named Alma was incredible. Will be returning
