Gilbert's Food and Beer

This was my first time eating here, and won’t be my last! The best street tacos found north of the border. This plate was to die for! Reasonably priced and great service! Can’t wait to go back.

Street tacos were really good. The place looks like a dump, but don't let that deter you.

I just kind of found this by asking around. Everything I have ordered was very tasty and prices were not bad for the quality of food. Street tacos were good and the pancake platter was great. There's a little bit of everything in this store, this family could definitely be called capitalist opportunist, nice people.

Ordered the breakfast sandwich, which is actually 2 sandwiches. Lol. It's on Texas Toast with bacon, sausage patties, eggs, lettuce, tomato, purple onions, jalapenos and mayo. Delicious. I inhaled the first one before I took the pic. Lol

The owner is always so nice and welcoming. The tacos are easily the best/ most authentic tacos I’ve found in the 40+ states I’ve traveled. Excited to try more of the menu. I will be coming back as often as possible

I pretty much go in here and get their beef tacos with pico de gallo and queso fresco before work almost every day!

The food is very good and reasonably priced as well. They also carry my favorite beer (New Belgium Voo Doo Ranger) and it's almost always stocked.

Everyone here is always super nice as well, always saying hello and " Have a nice day!" before you leave.

This is by far my favorite place to go for authentic tacos! They give generous amounts with quick and friendly service. My other favorites are the mushroom burger, fried rice, street tacos, and ceviche. You won’t be disappointed, as I most definitely wasn’t! I’ll definitely be coming back.

I’m not around Mansfield much, but whenever I do go, I make it a point to stop by Gilbert’s for their street tacos. They’re easily some of the best and most authentic street tacos I’ve tasted around the DFW metroplex!

I stopped here to have a couple of fajita street tacos.. Which are excellent; cooked fresh when ordered. It's a popular beer and wine store with a grill, carniceria, some fresh vegetables, eggs, ice, ect. They have Glacier water out front to fill your own gallon jugs at a low price. Sarah, the beautiful Korean lady who runs the store is super friendly and appreciative of your patronage!

I Love this little store! Very efficient and polite staff. Their prices are competitive with all of the well known chains , atleast the beer and cigarettes anyway. I am disappointed when I forget to go before days closing. A real pleasure shopping there. THANK YOU GILBERTS.

I seek out the Best Breakfast Burritos around the country and this place is a Gold Mine!

If you like authentic Mexican food, you will not be disappointed.

Best stop for last minute livations, fresh cuts of mest, veggies & home cooked plates. Also a hang out for the local flavor. Relaxed atmosphere. No gasoline. Beer & Wine sold here.

I love their food. Everything is made to order and it's fresh. I would highly recommend trying their orange chicken with fried rice.

A delicious variety of entrees, friendly staff, and an unpretentious atmosphere make this a great destination for anyone looking to pick up a good meal and a cold beer.

Great food and amazing staff members. I suggest the philly cheesesteak.

This place is surprisingly good for fresh breakfast and lunch offerings.
