Katherine Rose Memorial Park

Great park. It has some of everything. A nice playground, good trails, ponds, pavilions you can reserve for family events. My family has had great birthday parties and celebrations here. Restrooms are maintained. Swings that work. We have visited a lot of parks and this one rates high on the list.

The Katherine Rose Memorial Park is a lovely place for friends and family to gather and enjoy some quality time. This park offers multiple amenities, including but not limited to a children’s playground, a volleyball court, baseball court, a pond with fish and boundless amounts of free grass for kids and dogs to play and run around in. This park is annexed to the Mansfield linear park system and is a brisk 15 minute walk away from the Town Park, which is a much smaller, but equally delightful version of Kathrine Rose Memorial Park. Make sure to swing by and spend some time here.

This park is amazing fantastic place to let the kiddos run around and enjoy being outdoors! There is a mommy and me swing and also a few big kid swings. The equipment is all in working order, nothing broken or worn-down.

There are quite a few horseshoe throws underneath the trees! We enjoyed walking through the grass and gazing at the tall trees, they’ve been there a while and provide nice shade.

Near the parking lot there is a basketball court in case you want to throw some hoops. The parking lot loops around and has ample spaces.

Bathrooms are clean and have soap/toilet paper. Trash bins were emptied on our visit, so no wasps or anything swarming. It was such a lovely visit!

Nice park in Mansfield along a linear trail that links several individual parks in Mansfield. I really like these parks and linear trail. It appears that the city may have a cleanup crew that keeps trash picked up, and the parks and trail are flanked by lots of trees, so that makes it nice.

This is a great park. It has a little bit of everything. Swings, slides, running trails, pond, volley ball, basketball, big fields oh and horse shoes( horse shoes not included). Bring your family bring your friends they have grills enjoy the day or night.

This park is amazing for all things. Kids park is nice and big, has basketball courts. Volleyball courts. Lots of concrete trails for bikes and walking. The paths are kind of hilly for bikes in some places. Lots of shade. All around a nice place to spend time outside.

Great outdoor area to do some grilling, play volleyball, and basketball all while social distancing between parties. Today was a blast. Just be sure to bring mosquito repellent because they were biting people like crazy.

This is a good place to bring the kiddos during the day. They have a walking trail and a pond to fish in. There is also an area for horse shoes or to fly kites

Paved walking trail with kids playground/basketball courts and more. Good walk further down the trail as it is covered if on a warm day. They have various workout equipment/stations throughout the park.

Great large park. The playground is large and has several swings as well. It has rubber padded ground that's great for little ones still crawling or learning to walk. None of the playground is covered unfortunately. There are several covered picnic tables nearby and even more that are not covered. There's even many horse shoe areas although they're often flooded. The walking trail is very nice including a small pond with fountain. 2 volleyball and a few basketball courts are also available.

Very nice place to walk. Don't appreciate people who have dogs that are unleashed allowing the dogs to run all over the park.

I go here to get some privacy and do online church services and it's so amazing and peaceful. I also come here to walk the trails which have plenty of shade as well as rest areas. Seems like a great place to take the family as well and to have family gatherings.

This park is amazing. The trails are well kept, and large enough for everyone to get around without running people over. Playground is pretty big and the layout is very convenient.

Beautiful Park 🏞 Will definitely come again. Joined friends for Volleyball, fellowship and we all had a great time. Played Volleyball, Basketball, rode scooters, had snacks 🥨
