Mellizoz (now located in Cruzteca)

SO. GOOD!! I got a migas burrito and it was delicious. The queso was a little plain, but the chips were delicious and the salsas were got were perfect. They have multiple vegetarian AND vegan options! And everything is super reasonably priced. Will be returning!!

Fast service; Cheap prices; Huge tacos: that's what I would describe this food truck as. The portions are bigger than most places around town. The food is delicious. I got the Fried Avocado and it was pretty unique. Never had such a taco before. I also got The Padre which is pulled pork, pineapple, and avocado. The food is fresh and authentic, with a unique twist in every taco. I was highly satisfied with my visit and I'll be back!

Since my trip to Austin 4 weeks ago, I have not stopped talking about how good the tacos from here are. I was only in town for 3 days, and I ended up eating here 5 times. It was the first thing I ever ate in Austin ever and it was the last right before leaving.

Coming from Colorado, I honestly expected a similar type of taco to be presented to me which was small and somewhat bland, only being flavored by the toppings. To my surprise, I got the opposite. I ended up starting with The Slowrider that I am convinced had a half pound of braised beef in it that had more flavor than any other braised beef I've ever had. The cotija and cilantro complimented it perfectly and when I was done, I instantly went to order another. In the 3 days I got more slowriders, The Old School and The Padre. All equally amazing and packed with flavor and portions.

Price wise to me was also pretty great given the amount of food you actually get per taco. I get the same prices here for 1/3 of the filling. The service to me was also great as they would bring out your food to your personally and always were friendly and able to make modifications to your tacos as you seem fit. The setting was the typical food truck scene with picnic tables out in front with decent shade from trees and rain with a smaller parking lot out in front making parking a bit easier if you can get a spot.

I really can't wait to eat these tacos again, and I highly recommend the same to anyone else passing through the area and looking for a quick bite.

Walked in on a Sunday and truly loved the experience. Everything was fresh and tasty. I started with an amazing guacamole, the Chiliquiles were phenomenal, and the house made jalapeno garlic salsa brought a tear to my eye. Especially on the fried papas on the side. The only negative I can say, was the Charro beans were a little bland. But everything else was a great breakfast experience. Come and continue making this renamed Austin original a place to be!

Five out of five stars, best Mexican food I’ve had an Austin Texas so far. The customer service was great!!

Tacos were full and tasty especially "The Escobar". Price per taco wasn't bad either. I'd also suggest "The Padre". Will definitely be back eventually.

I had the fried shrimp taco, chips and salsa ( best salsa) definitely wonderful!! Would love to go back one day...the food came out fast especially on how busy they were..very friendly staff overall experience the best!!!

Wow! I wish I had more room to eat! Their chicken taco was absolutely delicious...the tortilla was so fresh- perfectly toasted and soft on the inside. The chicken was tender and seasoned well, all the veggies were very fresh. The pico de Gallo was amazing- very flavorful with a kick. The sauce definitely tied the taco together. Had Gourdough's first (in the same parking lot) so I was too full to try more but the other options sounded delicious!

Mellizoz Tacos is a fantastic food truck in Austin, Texas. I had the 'shroom taco, which was a delicious mix focused of mushrooms. We also had the Escobar (beef) & the Delmar (fish) which were excellent. The service here was fantastic as well. Their guacamole was amazing, but we ran out of chips before we ran out of guacamole. The owner recognized this and gave us more chips.

BEST. TACOS. EVER. We came here to visit and tacos were our food for the weekend. This place blew all the others out of the water! Try the tempura shrimp

The person who I communicated with about the catering details was very kind and patient. I appreciate her service so much! Catering arrived on time for our event, nice and early on a Saturday morning. The food was delicious and the set up worked really well for our event. I love that they let us choose what we wanted and that they had different drop off and pick up options. The drop off was just perfect for us.

The food is delicious. I love their breakfast tacos. We will definitely be going back for more and remember them for future events.

I've only had a few items so far, but everything I've had there has been delicious! Mellizoz Tacos is definitely on my list of places to visit regularly!

Tony is awesome and will make you feel at home! This place is amazing! Have been looking for a good taco joint that really brings it out with flavor and uniqueness! Highly recommend after my first time here. Will definitely be coming back especially on Thursdays for the live music and the amazing food!

Mellizoz Tacos catered our morning wedding and they were absolutely perfect in every way. We went with a Saturday morning wedding to save on costs, and thought breakfast tacos would be a great addition. Staci was incredibly helpful and responsive while we were planning everything. The tacos were affordable, delicious, and they're large portions so our guests had plenty to eat. Mellizoz also helped us with set up and tear down at the venue and provided a bar tender to serve mimosas with the tacos. If you're looking for a caterer for your event, I highly recommend Mellizoz Tacos.

I am not a taco specialist, but I absolutely loved the breakfast tacos here. It was a huge portion of eggs and meat on top of some fresh tortillas. The portion size was impressive. I will definitely come back the next time I am in Austin.
