Fultondale Bakery

Fultondale Bakery is my favorite in the Birmingham area! Their donuts are amazing! Super soft, delicious glaze, great frosted/assorted flavors. Baked fresh every morning - when you go early, they are still warm. They aren’t open very long because they sell everything quick! Be prepared with cash or check - they have no need to conform with credit cards - everyone happily complies (probably makes the donuts taste better).

This is absolutely the best bakery in the South. Everything on the menu is absolutely amazing from the cookies, brownies, donuts, cakes to the breakfast biscuits and sausage pastries. Not only do they create these delicious sweet masterpieces, these ladies have amazing customer service and have a great family friendly atmosphere. They get to know their regulars and genuinely care for each and everyone of them. You haven’t tried this bakery you are definitely missing out on the best of the best.

Love this place. Best apple fritters you can get anywhere. Very good selection of doughnuts, you can't go wrong. Just be prepared they are cash only but worth it

The owner went out of her way to satisfy our request. We wanted two cake donuts with chocolate icing. They were about to close, and there were none available. However, there were two un-iced cake donuts. She took them into the back, reheated the chocolate vat, and made them as requested. Now that's service, above and beyond. They are now OUR donut stop, and pastries as well.

A very nice place to go to that has the best homemade pastries with a great price along with a smile from the moment you came in to leaving with a smile yourself.

They have always had excellent donuts and pastries. Their birthday cakes are pretty phenomenal too. I don’t live nearby anymore so every time I’m in town I will stop and get at least a half a dozen of their glazed cake donuts. They are the best I’ve ever had. Just remember to get there early because they run out of donuts around 10:00am or earlier most days.

They made me a Coconut Cake for my mother's 94th B'day! It was the best cake I have ever had. Baked fresh this morning, picked up and eaten this afternoon! Cannot go wrong with any cake they make! Delicious 😋

The oatmeal cookies are hands down. I don't even like raisins, but the mixture and how the raisins kinda melts into it..delish!!! Coffee or milk to set it off!!

Some of the nicest ladies working here,and the best coconut cake I have ever gotten, really made my dad's birthday a great hit with him!!!!

Arrived early for my 1st visit and tried the cinnamon rolls. I have heard that they tend to sell out early and I can see why,they were hot,fresh and delicious! Looking forward to trying the rest of the bakery menu items soon!

Cakes are phenomenal. Donuts are delicious. Everything I've ever had is great. Cinnamon rolls, apple fritters, etc. They will work with you to make specialty cakes. So yummy!

My wife saw this bakery as we returned to our hotel. The next day we stopped and picked up some pillows apple fritters and doughnuts. Don't hesitate to stop. You won't regret it.

Someone brought me a single glazed plain cake doughnut from here. I do not generally like cake nor cake doughnuts for various reasons. This doughnut though. Oh sweet Saint Nicholas this doughnut was everything I wanted in a cake doughnut. It was moist and dense but still fluffy. I want another... Or 6...

The Fultondale Bakery is an understated shop in a non-descript strip mall where you will find the best glazed cake donuts in the world. No matter where I’ve been and what I’ve tried, I’ve never found an equal to the donuts found in their little glass case. I’ve enjoyed every flavor I’ve had, but do yourself a favor and buy a dozen of the glazed cake. Get there early. They sell out fast!

This place is simply the best. Unbelievable cinnamon rolls and doughnuts to die for. You will never be disappointed with the product you get here.
