Gardendale Self Storage

Due to a job change, we had to relocate very quickly and did not have a new place. I can't say enough good things how Sharon worked with us to find space for our things. She went above and beyond with accommodating our crazy schedule and the amount of space we needed. We just recently completed moving into our new home and our very thankful Sharon was able to reduce the stress for us. Would recommend her and her team to anyone!

I have had two separate units after upgrading and enjoy storing whatever here. Also
I’m in the climate control and it’s always in the low 70’s which is perfect if you have items that do not need to get too hot or cold. Come check them out.

Can't say enough about the owners! I've known them for 50 years and grew up with their daughters! When my husband's mother passed away a year ago, we needed storage for some furniture and we were living 1000 miles away in New York! Sharon helped us secure a unit and coordinated with our movers to move the items safely. She is incredibly responsive, professional and friendly! Justin was also a huge help! The facility is well-kept and clean. You won't be disappointed!

I have nothing but great things to say about the facility or the people! I rented a climate controlled room, and the entire place was always very clean and comfortable. I never had a single problem with my room, my belongings, or the staff. In fact, they even went out of their way to help me when I had a short notice/short duration need for additional storage space. I absolutely recommend them to everyone needing storage space!

Gardendale Self Storage is the cleanest, nicest self storage we have ever used. The staff is super friendly and the building was so clean. It was secured and I never worried about my belongings. We had everything we own in that unit and it was never bothered. They are amazing.

Love Gardendale Self Storage, everyone is so professional and nice. I had 2 climate-controlled units, stored there for a few years. It is well lit on the inside and outside, and the facility is very clean, also inside and out. I would recommend this facility to anyone! And if I ever need to rent again, I will rent with them.

We used Gardendale Self Storage several years ago. We loved them and the facility was clean and Ms. Sharon was wonderful to work with. Recently my son rented a unit from them while he was in between apartments and they done his wonderful also. Would highly recommend!

My family recently rented a climate controlled unit from GSS. The unit looked brand new, was always clean, and safe. Sharon and the people there could not be more helpful and kind. I really have no complaints or concerns. I would not hesitate to store there again if needed.

I used their facility for almost 2 years. Moving from another state I reserved the space over the phone and Sharon was super helpful and made the process really easy. The facility is very clean! The grounds are well kept and the storage space itself was like new. I highly recommend this facility if you're looking for a clean well kept and friendly staff place for your storage needs.

Professional, great customer service, very clean facility in a great location. We stored for over a year without any problems. The owners were always there when came by to pay our rent planting flowers, cutting grass, changing lights or filling up the complimentary ice cold water they keep in the office for their customers. You can tell they take pride in their business. Sharon that works in the office goes above and beyond to make sure everything goes smoothly for your move in or move out. Her dedication to details shows. She is a great asset to Gardendale Self Storage, never met a nicer person. Will definitely store with them again!!

The most accommodating and professional storage facility I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. I’m a retired special operations guy that has used storage facilities across the US during eight deployments overseas and dealt with storage facilities for my entire adult life and I have to be honest when I say that Gardendale Self Storage has treated me better than any other place that I’ve ever interacted with. Very rarely have I ever used a family owned business that actually cares about every interaction and still comes off as professional. To me, this storage is the shining example of why people should seek out family owned and ran businesses. They were patient with me every time I needed my lock cut, made themselves available anytime I needed help and were always pleasant with me, even when I made a mistake with a payment or forgetting my code. I can count the amount of reviews I’ve written on one hand so I don’t go through the process of writing a review unless a business truly resonates with me. The front desk lady is awesome!! Gardendale Self Storage is the best storage unit around. Very clean & they have all sizes that you need. They have inside climate control & outside units also. Sharon was so helpful & very friendly. Great people to deal with.Highly Recommend!

I've had a storage unit here now for 5 yrs. I have a climate control unit. The people are very nice and went out of their way to help me. I had left my keys one time and they came through for me and cut my lock so that I didn't have to make an hour drive back to get my keys. Just had to go buy a new lock. Thank you isn't enough!!

I needed a unit for a short period of time before we moved into our house. The owners and the young lady in the office were so helpful, helping in every way possible. The entire facility is spotless clean and they took excellent customer service to a new level. I know that this will be the only storage business that I will use. Excellent facility. Buildings are nice and clean. We stored our possessions for over a year while building a home and when we returned to retrieve them, all of our belongings were just like we left them. Will definitely use again.
