Drost Park

Well planted, well planned park. Great walking paths, really nice flower plantings and veggie garden (produce goes to food pantry). The paths are paved, used by walkers and cyclists. The first day we tried to go there, we got caught in a huge rain storm. We sheltered under the porch of a small locked shed until the water eventually began flowing in from both sides AND from under the door of the shed! We were all wet from rain blowing in. Another adventure!

Drost park is absolutely lovely. There’s playgrounds, pickleball, restrooms, well maintained sidewalks, and plenty of birds and squirrels to feed while you walk around the lake.

This park is a hidden gem! Beautiful water with lots of fun animals to see. There are plenty of seating areas and shady spots to relax. I enjoy having lunch here and nature watching.

Nice park with plenty of room to do activities or go for a nice walk. There’s a lake with lots of pavilions around and a paved trail that goes around the whole park. You’ll also find tons of flat grassy areas and a small garden area. They just built two pickle ball courts and there’s an online reservation system. My favorite part of this park is that it links up with the MCT bike trails so you can come here on a ride and take a break.

Beautiful park with biking/walking trails, a small lake and a playground for the kids. There are several picnic areas with grills. Benches are tucked away everywhere so you can find the perfect spot to watch the ducks, geese and squirrels that make this park their home. It's a great place to spend a lazy afternoon.

It is a hidden gem many people dont know about who live in the area. They have a free fishing lake (get a state license) with a boat ramp. They have a fantastic playgrounds, good bathrooms. Did i mention the one playground has a rubber flooring. They have pickle ball courts, and a workout square with rubber flooring also. The best thing is plenty of seating close to the walking and riding trail. The trail also connects to the county bike trails which will keep you busy riding or walking for weeks. Go enjoy some sun.

I have been coming here since I was 4 years old. I grew up fishing here, playing, flying kites, and having picnics w my family. Definitely has changed over the years. Love the playground for the kids, the public restrooms, water fountains, and even the water fountain for your pets! Great place to take your kids, walk your dog/cat, or spend time w your family. I do believe there is a walking or bike trail located relatively close by. If not, I grew up riding my bike around Maryville as a kid. Always was safe and I'm pretty sure it still is to this day.

Great off the highway stop. Clean restrooms. I really appreciate the work of the Tuesday morning local gardeners who meet here at 8 am . Stretch your legs here. Beautiful flowers. Asphalt paths.

This is a beautiful local park with so much value to the community. I would love to see this park expand what it has to offer the community. I would be extremely interested in seeing a small disc golf course be installed into the park. Troy park has a small disc golf course that could serve as an inspiration for a similar course in drost.

Great community park that features over a mile paved walking path. The path is fairly level and easy to walk with little to know cracks or holes that could cause you to trip and fall. Can access the MCT bike trail from the park if you want to extend your walking distance. The park also features many different picnic areas with grills, pickleball courts, fishing in the pond, and various playground equipment.

Beautiful Park that has a fitness playground and a children's playground along with flower and vegetable gardens.

Very well maintained peaceful park. There is a boat ramp and ample parking space to launch a small boat or kayak. Fishing is also allowed. There is a nice shared walk/bike path and a very nice playground. The public bathrooms were meh but not a drop toilet so I call it a win.
