I enjoy coming to Eye See Beauty. Tanicca is knowledgeable, caring, and honest. Her energy is always welcoming and pleasant. The shop is clean and organized, and I love that she sanitizes as she goes.

When I first came to her, my hair was just growing back after a "kitchen beautician" mishap and a year straight of protective styles. In our first meeting, we discussed options and what I wanted my hair journey to be with no pressure one way or the other. Since then, I have been sold. She takes her time from start to finish! I even built the confidence since coming to her to cut my hair, and it's already growing back. She is great at what she does. I will recommend Eye See Beauty and Tanicca all day because I love my hair every time!

Tanicca is so talented! Even after just two appointments, my locs are healthier. Her goal is for her clients to have healthy hair, and it shows in how careful she is in her work. She is punctual and does an excellent job of estimating how long her appointments will take. She made sure that I left the appointment satisfied and with the most beautiful and comfortable updo! I recommend her wholeheartedly. Make the appointment. You wont regret it!

Such a Beautiful Loft! Tanicca is the BEST! She not only makes you look beautiful she makes you feel beautiful! She also informs you on how to take care of your hair outside of her care with products and all! The Loft is so comfy and beautifully decorated! I never miss a beat with HER! Every 2 weeks I'm in her seat! With EYE SEE BEAUTY you won't be disappointed!

Tanicca is amazing. She should have her hands insured! Love what she does to tame my locs and she provides education for newer loc-heads like me.

Great experience! I relocated to Chicago during the pandemic and was having a really hard time committing and entrusting a new stylist with my hair. Tanicca is great at what she does and so attentive and efficient throughout her process. Her silk presses last and my hair is back to it’s healthy vibrant self thanks to her expertise and I am so glad I chose to trust her.

Excellent in every way: appointments start/end on time and are not rushed; friendly and comfortable environment, and a true expert on all things Black hair! Tanicca's knowledge and thorough treatment of my hair has really helped me to take better care of my hair between visits. I have never had a loc retwist last as long as when I have gone to Eye See Beauty, even if I don't get a style. There is magic in her twisting products. :) I would highly recommend and I am so relieved to have finally found a local loctician to stick with!

There is so much to say about Ms. Tanicca but I will keep it short. I was referred to her after I several attempt with stylist to get me locs together. I felt good vibes from the moment I walked in the door. She never treats you like a stranger. You feel like you have known her a long time. She is good people. She is professional yet crazy in a good way. I know when I come to get my hair done I am going to have a good time and interesting conversations. Always entertaining. I've been going to Tanicca for years and am so glad to have found her. She is the best stylist and believes in using nothing but the best products. She even uses filtered water. She got me off of relaxing my hair and now I don't have any scalp burning/irritation and my hair is growing back stronger and healthier. Highly recommended!

I’ve been looking for a stylist for several years. I wanted someone that is knowledgeable about healthy natural haircare and can style hair really well. Tanicca has answered my prayers. She is so personable and yet direct when it comes to informing you about what’s best for your hair. I have very soft natural hair and often stylist can never straighten or style my hair. Tanicca has my hair looking beautiful and it feels so good. My hair has so much body and bounce! She uses great products and her prices are competitive. The best part is she’s 10 minutes from my home!

Tonnica is a great stylist but more importantly she is a kind and caring person. She cares for you hair health but also is attentive to you as a person. Her salon is always so clean and she continues to go above and beyond COVID safety procedures even though the rest of the world has moved on (wearing a mask, wiping down the chairs, providing clean towels during your appt, and keeping the number clients in the salon to a minimum). I highly recommend her if you are looking for an professional quality stylist and healthy hair.

Tanicca is amazing! Super friendly, knowledgable, and patient. I got comb coils from her a few weeks ago and they were perfect! I would recommend her to anyone for comb coils or starter locs!
